Re: Would like to understand fellow members fears of Socialism.
here's one good reason to fear 'socialism'

When Hitler came to power, the Institut was closed and its members, by various routes, fled to the United States and migrated to major US universities—Columbia, Princeton, Brandeis, and California at Berkeley.

The School included among its members the 1960s guru of the New Left Herbert Marcuse (denounced by Pope Paul VI for his theory of liberation which ‘opens the way for licence cloaked as liberty’), Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, the popular writer Erich Fromm, Leo Lowenthal, and Jurgen Habermas - possibly the School’s most influential representative.

Basically, the Frankfurt School believed that as long as an individual had the belief - or even the hope of belief - that his divine gift of reason could solve the problems facing society, then that society would never reach the state of hopelessness and alienation that they considered necessary to provoke socialist revolution. Their task, therefore, was as swiftly as possible to undermine the Judaeo-Christian legacy. To do this they called for the most negative destructive criticism possible of every sphere of life which would be designed to de-stabilize society and bring down what they saw as the ‘oppressive’ order. Their policies, they hoped, would spread like a virus—‘continuing the work of the Western Marxists by other means’ as one of their members noted.

To further the advance of their ‘quiet’ cultural revolution - but giving us no ideas about their plans for the future - the School recommended (among other things):

1. The creation of racism offences.
2. Continual change to create confusion
3. The teaching of sex and homosexuality to children
4. The undermining of schools’ and teachers’ authority
5. Huge immigration to destroy identity.
6. The promotion of excessive drinking
7. Emptying of churches
8. An unreliable legal system with bias against victims of crime
9. Dependency on the state or state benefits
10. Control and dumbing down of media
11. Encouraging the breakdown of the family

One of the main ideas of the Frankfurt School was to exploit Freud’s idea of ‘pansexualism’ - the search for pleasure, the exploitation of the differences between the sexes, the overthrowing of traditional relationships between men and women. To further their aims they would:

• attack the authority of the father, deny the specific roles of father and mother, and wrest away from families their rights as primary educators of their children.
• abolish differences in the education of boys and girls
• abolish all forms of male dominance - hence the presence of women in the armed forces
• declare women to be an ‘oppressed class’ and men as ‘oppressors’
Munzenberg summed up the Frankfurt School’s long-term operation thus: ‘We will make the West so corrupt that it stinks.'

The School believed there were two types of revolution: (a) political and (b) cultural. Cultural revolution demolishes from within. ‘Modern forms of subjection are marked by mildness’. They saw it as a long-term project and kept their sights clearly focused on the family, education, media, sex and popular culture.

Very good post. The Frankfort School tied into the Fabian Society of England and to another Institute centered out of London that starts with "T" and which will get you an auto-ban. This last one is also a promoter of socialism.

The bankers are behind the whole show; their scheme is: Steal the seigniorage and privatize profits and socialize losses.

Hmmm - I see this as just an example of how the NWO works. the jesuits create the Illuminati, takeover Freemasonry, create Communism, run most of the important Universities - it is a simple matter for them to cultivate the carreers of these Jewish communist subversives and have them sent over to US universities that are also run by jesuits.

They are playing all sides of the game - but at the centre of the web are the jesuits - allways keeping a low profile.

The chaos is spreading; are you ready?

Socialistic precepts ruin a society because they do not recognize private ownership of property.

In the initial takeover and subsequently socialists routinely kill a lot of people.

Re: Would like to understand fellow members fears of Socialism.
The Foundations of Liberty and Prosperity require Two Laws:

Do all you have agreed to do.

Do not encroach on other persons or their property.

These are the two fundamental laws taught by all religions. The first is the basis of contract law. The second is the basis of tort law and some criminal law.

These laws are essential for an advanced civilization. The first gives rise to trade and specialization of labor. The second creates peace, security and goodwill.

Experience shows that where these laws are widely obeyed by everyone, including the government, the result is liberty, free markets and rapid economic growth. Investment opportunities abound. Where these laws are not obeyed, especially by governments, liberty is not an option—only tyranny or chaos, and failures of every kind.

Chaostan is the most important area that never developed legal systems based on the two laws. Or, if they did, they allowed government officials the special privilege of violating them.

An economic system is the result of its legal system. Before you invest in any country, be sure to check the country's legal system. It's the single most important determinant of the country's economic growth, and the safety and profitability of your investments.

The foundation—indeed the bedrock—of every Early Warning Report analysis is The Two Laws. To begin enjoying the fruits of this highly unique and innovative view, subscribe to EWR today. You will understand what others don't.

Hugo Chevez is having the same difficulty administering socialism as every other government has experienced.

Perhaps they should do some research on the "calculation problem socialism" and read what Austrian economists have written.

(I do not totally agree with the Austrian economic point of view, but there is a principle involved)

For a different point of view, study this thread: Thread: Get rid of the money system, then get rid of goverrments

I believe socialism leads to no one wanting to work and all becomming forced slaves.

If your entire life is planned and there is no chance of changing it for the better why bother (work).

If others are working to support you , why work.

There is no Fear, meathead. It is anti-socials on both side of the fence. Neither wayward Capitalism or Socialism or any 'ism' in the end makes any sense. They claim what they do without claiming everything about it.

No subject can be debated with meatheads, who by their own admission refuse to allow any debate in the first place and neither follow the U.S. Constitution whether they claimt they are religious or not, just their ill-will coming out of their anti-social faces.

The U.S. Supreme Court is not here for their whims either, and neither are they going to reduce what it is that they allow, for they are from Hell, and if they think not, their corruption tells of their demise on this planet in The Bible, and make no mistake, they can not get out of this one, even if their weasel faces tried.

That applies also to females being paid the same if they do the same work. They are the ones not passing the Admendments, just keeping their so-called Power with their whims. And God has said enough about it in the Bible, along with having other Countries do their anti-social bit also.

And it could have been different, but then their short-circuited brains they never fixed, and don't intend to, spouting their anti-social crap continally out of their faces.

Re: Would like to understand fellow members fears of Socialism.
The calculation problem of socialism:

The economic calculation problem is a criticism of socialist economics, or more precisely central economic planning. It was first proposed by Ludwig von Mises in 1920 and later expounded by Friedrich Hayek.[1][2] The problem referred to is that of how to distribute resources rationally in an economy. The free market solution is the price mechanism, wherein people individually have the ability to decide how a good should be distributed based on their willingness to give money for it. The price conveys embedded information about the abundance of resources as well as their desirability, which in turn allows, on the basis of individual consensual decisions, corrections that prevent shortages and surpluses; Mises and Hayek argued that this is the only possible solution, and without the information provided by market prices socialism lacks a method to rationally allocate resources. Those who agree with this criticism argue it is a refutation of socialism and that it shows that a socialist planned economy could never work. The debate raged in the 1920s and 1930s, and that specific period of the debate has come to be known by economic historians as the The Socialist Calculation Debate.[3]

Ludwig von Mises argued in a famous 1920 article "Economic Calculation in the Socialist Commonwealth" that the pricing systems in socialist economies were necessarily deficient because if government owned or controlled the means of production, then no rational prices could be obtained for capital goods as they were merely internal transfers of goods in a socialist system and not "objects of exchange," unlike final goods. Therefore, they were unpriced and hence the system would be necessarily inefficient since the central planners would not know how to allocate the available resources efficiently.[3] This led him to declare "...that rational economic activity is impossible in a socialist commonwealth."[1] Mises developed his critique of socialism more completely in his 1922 book Socialism, an Economic and Sociological Analysis.
