ALERT : Plans to evacuate Tampa Bay area expected to be announced

I live in the Tampa area. I suspect that if the oil entered the bay. The degassing of the oil in this area would be off the charts with toxic benzine. I do not want to be here for that.

And if this rumor about Benzene were even remotely close to the truth, then why has New Orleans not been evacuated? Why hasn't Southern Louisiana been poisoned and deserted? Why not Southern Mississippi? Those are the places that are closest to where the oil has been, for one whole month now.

The loop current in the Gulf Stream will take some of the oil southward, toward the Florida Keys and through the Florida Straits, eventually moving it all into the Atlantic Ocean and dispersing it. This path will take all of the oil, every speck of it, at least 250 miles away from the Florida West Coast, including the Tampa Bay area.

Of course, whoever it was in Syracuse that posted that bogus article on examiner.com probably doesn't know much about the geography in this
region. And so he (or she) thought that their bullshit artistry would fool
more people into believing that it was true. Instead it is just at GLP. What a shock!

There are sane people in the human race. Unfortunately though, most who believe the false doom crap that is regularly posted at GLP are sort of a cross between being frozen in paranoia and addicted to rumors of impending doom and gloom.

They never notice that NOT ONE SINGLE thread on GLP that has ever predicted upcoming doom HAS EVER COME TO PASS. Instead, they just blithely wander off to the next doom thread, hoping against hope that this one will be THE ONE which will bring the doom that they so crave.

The odd truth is that there really ARE conspiracies, there really are things that are covered up by the powers-that-be and by the MSM, etc. And someday, some way, somehow, there will be something that will indeed bring REAL DOOM to us all, or to many of us, or to whomever it will be that will be living on Earth.. when that happens. Someday.

But whenever that is and whatever it is that happens, you can bet that IT WILL NOT BE REPORTED IN A THREAD ON GLP first. Instead, endless helpings of more bogus doom bullshit will be flung back and forth then, on this site.. IF it still exists then.

I find it a bit odd that Tampa Bay area would be evacuating fist,wasn't there a AFB in SouthWest Tampa Area yesterday that had a shooting and was in lockdown???just pondering.......MacDill Air Force Base Units

In addition to the 6th Air Mobility Wing, MacDill Air Force Base is also home to 53 Mission Partners, including United States Central Command and United States Special Operations Command....things that make you go hhhhmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!


I am in the Tampa Bay area. Guess what? No evacuations, no oil (I live on the water) and no fucking Benzene!

I come here because just occasionally there is some really interesting stuff posted here. Personally I have never understood wishing for the doom. It's like people hate their pityful existence so much that they think they want it to end. You can guarantee though that if the time comes, in the last few seconds they will beg for their life back and will wish they had embraced what human beings are really capable of and the gift that is life.

Quest for knowledge and information, but apply the BS filter in all directions and not just the anti government one. You can get a much richer experience from knowledge that way.
