I guess that is something to think about. I have relatives in panama city. they will soon be out of work but they have decided to move further away from the beach. they lucked up on 10 acres of land and a 2 bedroom mobile home, rent to own for 450 a month.

Trillions of gallons of seawater contaminated by oil, hundreds of miles of shoreline, soon to be covered with it, God only knows how much sea life dead, whole communities put out of work for years, cleanup workers breathing toxic cancer causing fumes, crooked politicians and Coast Guard officers collecting big fat bribes to keep ther mouths shut....

If this is a blessing in disguise, it's a pretty damn good disguise.

I understand how your family and close friends feel. I live on the East Coast. I can't get enough of the ocean, the beaches, the sea life, the air, the wind, the storms, the calm....

It's something inside that's just a part of me. It's hard to leave. With all the horrors and evil that permeates this beautiful earth...there are many who would just prefer to go peacefully into that good night.

What make even more sense is the use of a very toxic dilutant on top of the already toxic crude oil and methane.

there is just so much water on earth, and it evaporates and rains upon us, redistributing it to other places. The ocean, lakes and rivers evaporate and anything in it too.... so now there is oil raining in Florida, tiny particles.... that land on plants, animals, people and everything..... we will be drinking oil for the next 30 years..... eating it in our salads....

I am part of the ocean... the gulf has so many dead zones already and now oil is all over the sand on the bottom and floating all around on the top, fish are breathing it.... it is smothering the food chain.... and over in the Pacific Ocean we have an island of plastic crap floating around killing fish ......

Let's see... now some Floridians will escape rising waters. OK. That means many more nuts per square mile in the rest of the country once they all move out of FLA.

In return we get: oceans destroyed worldwide. All potable water eventually sullied and destroyed. Meaning water (relatively clean) now will cost $50 a gallon. And be sold to us by the same cocksuckers who own Chevron and BP and Shell.
