I realise this is GLP and it's all for a thumbs up for what he did, but you have not had to suffer constantly hearing about him and his bragging on news and media for years crying like a smug baby as if he can do no wrong.

So much other stuff is more interesting than one guy who failed to find anything but land himself in legal hot water, all this oh poor me bullshit I have asparagus and can hack into anything I want and not end up in jail because I cry like a bitch about it.

I'm sick and tired of it and many other people are as well, even both sides those who support him and those who oppose him and his actions.

Who knows what happened, but I'm so happy for him. This must be a great relief for him and his mother. I heard an interview with her a few months ago and she said that Gary was autistic and did not posses any great hacking skills, it's just that the computers that he broke into weren't protected that well. Who knows if he is a brilliant hacker or not, but life imprisonment for looking at computer contents seems ridiculous.

He was not the only geek hacking US defence computers systems. It used to be that so easy that it was a right of passage for those want to be associated with the oils.
I have seen 12 years olds flipping round pentagon nasa systems.

Nothing serious critical like missiles and such.
airforce aircraft maintenance rota, payroll, holiday schedule, building rebuilds and much much much much more. plenty of weird shit.
