Search on for corpse of Mystery Beast - " bizarre looking animal was discovered. " PHOTO'S another strange find? Dog drags bizarre creature from creek Saturday, May 22 2010 The sighting of a bizarre creature which folklore claims is an omen for bad luck has reportedly taken place in Canada. The omagimaakos is said to be about one foot-long with a large head, a warthog-like mouth, and a tail like a rat. According to the Toronto Sun, a pair of walkers were in the Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug area of Hudson Bay when their dog made the find. Local councillor Darryl Sainnawap said that one of his relatives found one in the 1950s. "It's very rare. It lives in creeks and swampy areas and is said to feed on beavers. My great-uncle was told by his grandfather that a sighting of the omagimaakos is an omen that bad things will happen. So we'll have to see about that," he said. Although photographs have appeared on the internet, the body of the animal has since apparently washed away [link to www.digitalspy.com] |
