the article in a nut shell..

The natural parents of adopted children are increasingly
flouting the usual controls and safeguards..

intrusive and unplanned communication"

" I have been searching for you ever since you were stolen by social services. You look beautiful. I love you so much."

I have been looking for ages. Please write back because you've been told lies about me."

catastrophic impact..

The natural mother failed to acknowledge ..

unaware that the man had sexually abused her..

believes his children were unfairly adopted, said he wanted to know about their wellbeing.

sign contracts prohibiting them from using social networking sites to make contact. T

I am sick and tired of this myth that you adopt children, give them a good home, and love and that now everything will be all right. Ignorant fools, who have been raised by their own natural parents and do not have a clue as to what adopted children go through.

These parents should never have given up their children for adoption in the first place. Children should stay with their natural parents and those parents should be taught how to parent the correct way. If we really care about children, we should support the parents.

This article is written from the perspective of the adopted parents and their own emotional needs to parent. What about the children? No one ever considers the feelings of the children, or how being adopted is going to mess up the rest of their lives and relationships.

It took my mother and myself 50 years to find each other. Now we have started to heal. These kinds have got a big jump on me. They can start their healing process now.

Adopted children have no ''natural'' protection from incest.
Old MacDonald had a farm, ee-i-ee-i-o.
And on that farm he had a cow, ee-i-ee-i-o.
With a moo moo here and a moo moo there
Here a moo, there a moo, everywhere a moo moo
Old MacDonald had a farm, ee-i-ee-i-o.

Facebook should be outlawed to protect the ignorant. Why do people want to give away every bit of privacy they have?

There is another side of the coin though. I have known many people, either adopted or with a father who disappeared, that would give anything to find the natural parent(s).

They seem to feel like something is missing and want to know whether it is a positive or negative thing. It seems to be more of an issue when they reach adulthood than when they are younger.

Plus, if one has children it is practical to know medical history, etc. of both of your natural parents.

I agree.
I was adopted.
However time, money or income and bad habits have that all be so impossible now.
