I've heard this guy twice now and he says about the same thing both times. He claims that the oil that is being filmed and played for the public is not the critical leak. He says that the leak we are seeing is simply oil coming from the riser which is "probably" still attached to the sunken rig.

I'm not really understanding that premise, however, maybe someone can tell me what he's talking about. How can oil still be spewing from a riser, even a riser that is a mile long, after more than a month? How can oil appear to be spewing under pressure when it is coming from a riser which is attached to the rig only? What he's saying makes no sense.

Again, he said the last time I heard him, that the wellhead or perhaps a "fracture in the seabed", located 6 miles away from where they are filming, at the location where the rig went down, is the critical gusher because that is where enormous plumes of oil appear to be rising and forming on the surface.

He claims the riser is still attached to the rig (the riser is a mile long). He claims they are filming oil coming from the riser still attached to the rig. AND he claims that the wellhead and the rig are 6 miles away at the location of the REAL gusher.

Why is this guy allowed to make these claims without anyone in authority ever commenting, or anyone varifying or denying what he is saying, or even asking him where his information is coming from, or even how can oil just be coming from a riser for a solid month under pressure? How can the riser still be attached to the rig, AND the rig be 6 miles away at the location of the well?

The enormous amount of disinformation about this situation is absolutely maddening.
