Quite a few of them "leaked".

And they weren't supposed to.

I'm in Wisconsin, so we may be safe here (?). Just in case, I wonder if it would help to put tents made of plastic sheets or tarps over our gardens if that does happen? We are blessed to have a well aquifer to get our water from - if we can protect our vegetables it might be a good idea; others may need to store water just in case. I don't think major industrial farms will be able to have that many coverings, though. I think we'll also have to keep all of our animals enclosed for a while. The best we can hope for if this happens is to be able to scrape/shovel off much of the dirt in their pens and maybe soak any oil up with straw, and perhaps grow mushrooms to try to heal the land.

Does anyone know what type of mushrooms, perhaps I can order some spores to have on hand for the future?
