Quoting: SHRPretty sure NK and SK are really still under a declaration of war and have been operating under a cease fire....since "The Koren War"....Kim threatens to withdraw from that time to time...so you might not the typical formal "Declaration of war"...but this current situation is the closest I've seen them...and Kim's got an itchy trigger finger...obviously.. Yeah,it looks as if they are ready to restart hostilities. |

The only major problem for north korea is equipment and supplies. So this is not in their favor as south korea has superior weapons from the us. The only thing north korea can do is use superior tactics and the element of surprise but with the one million mines the south has put it will be difficult to surprise anything. This war if it breakes out will be very interesting. Common guys bring it on shoot a few missiles to get this thing started! |

Quoting: lime flavouredThat's a pretty big problem though. It's not a problem at all. They have been on a war footing for almost 60 years. They have numerous tunnels that carry houndreds of thousands of troops and tanks. The US commander in Korea, circa late 90's or so, said that in the event of war, US forces would be wiped out in a matter of hours. (Paraphrasing). I forget his name, but you can google it. Seoul is within artillery range, and would be decimated quickly. |
