The Mosaic covenant was annulled because of Israel's continued apostasy. The Abrahamic covenant, however, could not be broken for God had made it with himself (Abraham was sleeping). It is the covenant of Abraham that forms a basis for the church of Jesus Christ. From Abraham through David to Jesus to His followers..the born again are the seed of Abraham.

ISRAEL is a word that has a meaning outside the nationalisticly spun understanding. It's that deeper meaning that makes the prophecy true.

zech 13 falls between 12 and 14

to me 12 parallels Ezekiel 38 and 39 and zech 14 parallels Armageddon

which to me puts the Jews' refining between those events :-)

Do you understand that the Jewish prophets would not accept "Christ"?
