I also hope that those responsible do serious jail time, and get ass raped nightly.

No but your tech is lacking and you cut corners which lead to this disaster, and the alaska spill and the refinery explosion in Texas. 3 strikes and your out.

I wish them success as well...

I believe there are bright, decent people trying their damnedest to get control of this runaway monster. I think the anger should be directed to the folks that make the decisions, not the workers and engineers that are putting themselves in harms way to create and/or plug the wells.

That being said, I really hope that you and your industry take this disaster as the most expensive lesson learned, and that you Stop this type of drilling.
AND.. that BP becomes the leader in converting their efforts to CLEAN, ALTERNATIVE Energies for the benefit of humanity.
Because anything else ... is simply not acceptable.

If anything, they'll be allowed to drill more and get rewarded for their wrong doings. BP did the US government a favor.

The technology to react to an incident like this does not exist within the _entire industry_. If Exxon or Shell had suffered this catastrophy instead of BP you'd all be calling THEM the devil instead of me.

Now we will have the opportunity to be on the forefront of developing it.

you are correct, the technology does not exist

This is why you don't drill this kind of well when you know full well your hydraulic system is leaking in many of your safety tests were fraudulent

It's nothing but criminal negligence

Well thank you for finally being honest with yourself. The technology doesn't exist to react to an incident like this. Then WTF were you doing drilling in the first place.

I know BP is a big company and employs many sceintists and people who sit around and do nothing but figure out risk assessments. I refuse to believe one of those egg heads didn't foresee this possibility.

In which case BP probably said hmmm, its worth the risk.

Go fuck yourself you piece of shit. Even after all that has happened, all you're concerned about is $$$.

Too bad you couldn't be at the forefront of mitigation efforts in cleaning up my backyard.

It's also a damn shame that you couldn't be at the forefront of developing contingency plans for your contingency plans when shit gets fucked up.

I've got a great idea once the top kill procedure fails. Let's round up all the BP execs. and use them for the junk shot instead of golf balls and knots.

If you are who you say you are. Your time is coming shitstain.

I am a contractor that works for BP, and I beg to differ.

BP’s low level employees aren’t evil, but the upper level management that call the shots are DEFINITELY evil.

You don't get to the top of a major oil company without doing some hard core evil shit.
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.
