But checking out the antipode map -- what's on the opposite side of the world -- from Cern, it's the Ocean near New Zealand/Australia, not far from where a bunch of earthquakes are happening. Justa thought. The antipode for the Gulf of Mexico is the middle of the Indian Ocean between Africa and Australia -- no seismic activity there. YET.
