She's been steaming for weeks on the Katla webcam.
The glacier has been melting off.
All that pressure from the weight of glacier pushing down will only make her eruption more dramatic.

June...I *felt* April (Oil Geyser) and now I'm *feeling* June. Can't say it's for sure Katla, but it will be something with big and bad repercussions.

In tha past hour and yesterday there has been some traffic coming from the volcanic area. Yesterday there was a couple of jeeps or Humv's not for sure and in the last hour a I believe it was a motor cycle was kicking up alot of dust looks like it was in a hurry but who know's I'm sure there is no speed limit.
Yea but alot of steam coming out who know's it could be today or months from now. No hurry on this one it could go back sleep I wish.

these vulcano's have cycles too...it is not a matter if it blows, but when...and it's overdue...
