yes that is the question, i saw the bop moving away and then all the junk coming out and then nothing.

I'm watching the BP cam. Is this a shot from the ROV as it is rising to the surface or from one on or near the bottom?
If this is a junk shot then I'm thinking they put everything in it but the kitchen sink cause there are some rather large items that look like bars or poles flying around.

the problem is that the ROV was at a depth of over 7000 feet, when the BOP is only at 4897 feet

i would say the hydrates were forming outside the riser when decompression occurs.

Why is it that dark out? If it is live it shouldnt be that dark. It's 8:33 here in Wisconsin and it is dusk not night.
