The only thing the "leaders" have to worry about, is if the supermarket shelves run dry(the corporations drop the ball). As long as the corporate supplied bread and circuses continue, so will their reigns of terror. Spreading freedom and democracy is about keeping 50% of the population at one time happy; so as long as the majority are well off, who cares about the minority and what tyranny they have to suffer for the "greater good".

For those who think that voting them out will do any good, remember, the corporations put up the lions share of their campaign contributions for anyone "electable" enough to run for high office, so those who are there for selection, are there because the corporations payed their way, so they like good businesses, like returns on their "investments". Its business, nothing personal.

Even if most people are angry, I highly doubt that most have any idea of what went wrong or how to fix it.

Thus, it is not unlikely that most people will desire to apply the wrong solution(s) and make the situation worse rather than better.

In the event of a collapse, the U.S. is more likely to head into a Hitler-type situation than freedom and prosperity for all..

I was listening to, I think it was a "substitute" for Gallagher (?) the other day and they were discussing this.

Even though I think of myself as a conservative, the guy was really ticking me off. He kept repeating that this whole notion that Americans are ticked at ALL representatives is pure propaganda that they are only ticked at Democrats.

At least 3 callers called in and stated, "No, we are mad at everyone who has been in Congress for over the past 16 years, regardless of party affilliation (paraphasing)". The host kept cutting these callers off and stating "No, it's only the Democrats, it's only the Democrats, what you are stating is what Obama and his minions want you to believe".

His whole point was that Obama wants all the Republicans out and that the Democrat seats would be fine. I seriously had to turn the radio station as I knew calling in to refute his point would futile based on the prior calls.

IMHO, I still think that the best course of action would be to run a fiscal conservative Republican in Democrat heavy areas and run a fiscal conservative Independent in Republican heavy areas. There is NO WAY that an independent would win in a Democrat heavy area.

We have to pick our battles in order to win the "war". You can't fight a two front war and be successful - to try to get all independents is unlikely, especially as most people are still stuck in "left/right" - Republicans can win over a Democrat in a Democrat district and a Republican district would be more open to an Independent candidate.

Once the DNC is demolished, we all can then turn our attention to the GOP - both at once is an unwinnable battle, look at Napolean's and Hitler's defeats in two front wars.
