Re: The Lord Jesus Says, "The End Is Near!"
Honestly, this is what He recently told me.

Let's say you're in a jet at 30,000 feet.

The engines fail and you're streaking towards the earth.

YOU have two choices!

What's it going to be?

1. Die with Jesus
2. Die without Jesus

This Planet will die. YOU will die!
Every reputable history professor teaches that Jesus
is a historical person. YOU are about to smash into the
earth!

What's it going to be???

What's it going to be?

1. Live in a made-up fantasy world where you don't think for yourself
2. Live in reality
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 928561

I prefer to live in the reality where intelligent people realize that Jesus is a historical person.

I have the confidence that, as His friends said, He healed the sick, proclaimed liberty to those in prison, and raised the dead to life.

This is what happened.

Some of you sceptics probably do not even believe George Washington existed......... sheeeeeeesh!

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Matthew 24:36

Only the FATHER knows when the rapture will occur.

That said, your post makes no sense anyway. We all have two choices???? 1. Die with Jesus or 2. Die without him? HUH? If the end is near, as you suppose, the saved will be raptured and not taste death. So there goes option one. Those left behind will either die in the tribulation or they too could become saved.

I guess what you meant was, if the end ISNT soon, then you have two options (the ones you stated). If the rapture is soon then the options are 1. get saved and be raptured, and NOT die, 2. be left behind and die in the tribulation a.w/Jesus or b/without him, or 3. take the mark of the beast and spent eternity in the lake of fire with Satan and his angels, the demons, etc.

I'm pretty sure that Jesus existed. Now, whether or not Jesus was as depicted in the bible is the question.

You make a valid point regarding ALL sill not die....

that some will be spared death through the power of God.

The whole diving jet example was just that.... an 'example' of how everyone has to make a choice.

The "End of Days" in scripture is simply telling us that this part of time is coming to an end and another part of time will begin.

The Lord Jesus was a fool.

WoW! Respected as one of the greatest people in history by many of the most intellectual people who ever lived.

Seems like YOU are not on that list!
 Quoting: Once4All

So, did someone appoint you "list master"?

Last i checked, there was just One who is the "judge" of each soul.

But, in answer to your original post, according to scripture, there is nowhere that He is not. Jesus was the person/persona, the Christ is the "condition" he became when he was ~30. So, technically, the He that He became is always with us whether we know and accept it or not. One cannot live in the physical world without it. It is the essence of the Divine One, the spark of light/life within.

"What I AM you are. What I can do, you can do & more." Paraphrased quote from Jesus.

I understand where you're coming from, however he said many other things as well. Such as "let he who has not sinned be the first to cast the stone."

Scripture says not to judge others "lest ye be judged."

With the deepest respect, if you want people to listen to what you have to say, you must not be hypocritical. You have to walk the talk. Too many "christians" do not and are very much "hypocrites like the pharisees"...this is one of the main reasons they/we get so much crap and stereotypical judgement.

And don't give me the "Jesus said we'd be persecuted just as he was." crap. Too much of what Jesus said (as well as the rest of the bible) was/is misunderstood. It's time to re-read it and look at it with new eyes. It's time to apply it to ourselves first before pointing it out to others. Yes, this includes me...i'm walking my talk and correcting my steps along the way. This is why it is called a Spiritual Journey...it is a process. Ya can't just go to church and get "saved" and everything is just peachy. No one can do it for you. You have to go within and find out for yourself.

I do not belong to a "Religion."

YOU do not know me and are therefore arrogant to make such a statement.

When I was 16 I fell out of the top of a tall tree
and crushed several vertbre. I was in pain every day for several years. I went to a healing service and prayed to Jesus and was healed. This is the type of testimony the arrogant and foolish will never understand. We will go to heaven for our faith in Jesus.

Those who love evil and willingly break God's commands will die!
 Quoting: Once4All

I don't think that those who are not spiritually ready yet will be able to understand WHO we ALL really are, and Who Jesus is, and Who God is.
It doesn't really matter, they will just have to continue to reincarnate in more lives of misery, like the ones they presently have, until they decide to figure out WHY they are who they are, and what they must do so they can find their way to where they really belong.

We are ALL a part of God's Mind/Spirit.
And that is the only part of you that is real and that never dies.
And that idea has been recognized by many, even by the term people use when someone has done something wrong, they say; "he/she was not in his/her right mind."

When people are in harmony with life and all others and with themselves, they behave correctly, and that is when they indicate they are using their Right Mind.

When they attack anyone, or judge others, they are indicating they are in FEAR, and are then using the part of the mind they themselves made, which is called the EGO.
And the EGO will always give the wrong advice of what to do about anything. It makes conflicts, and thrives on them.

The ones who deny God, are as foolish as a drop of water would be in denying the ocean it came from.
It can deny it but what it denies is not true.

We don't belong on this world. None of us do.
We left where we really belong a very long time ago.
And our reason for being here is only to learn what we have to do to find our way back to where we really belong.

Those who deny Jesus, are denying our Elder Brother Who God sent to us, to teach us Who we are and HOW we can find our way back to Heaven and God, and where we really belong.

This world will always have conflict and misery, that's what its good for.

And when we decide we have had enough of the conflicts and misery, that is when we are READY TO LEARN what we need to in order to find our way to where we belong.

If you are ready to study Jesus' book which is called;
A Course In Miracles, you will find out what you need to do to find your way back Home.

That is why He gave it to us by Divine Intervention, a short time ago.

Thank you for your post.

I agree with some of what you are saying though not all.

I believe that The Word pre-existed but do not believe in reincarnation as defined by the world.

I believe we have one opportunity to follow God here and now.

I do not know of this book "A course in Miracles" but do believe in private revelation as long as it does not contradict The Word of God [i.e. the Bible].

Jesus already did say the end is near, before he left earth 2,000 or so years ago. Then he gave specific signs that would point to that specific time. And, he said this openly so we all could know. That time appears to be the time we live in now.

To reiterate or restate the original words of Jesus seems acceptable.

I agree OP. Things will get worse over the summer. On the Jewish Feast of Trumpets this year, millions will leave the planet...even the pagans know this. They just think the "density" is being removed so people can enter the next dimension.

God is about to judge this world for seven years starting with a man who will be recieved as wonderful with all the answers. He will make Israel sign a peace treaty for SEVEN years.

This will occur this fall most likely after Israel has nuked Damascus this fall.

You might want to copy this post and tuck it away, because "fact doesn not need ones consent to be true."

Jesus died for the sin of all mankind to restore us to a perfect and Holy Father who loves us. Those of us who have known that forgiveness and restoration desire for YOU to know that too.

God told us what to look for in the last days. We are there. The whole purpose of the NWO is for the Antichrist to rule it. He will be destroyed and all those who have delighted in wickedness and denied the TRUTH of Gods love trough His Son will perish in hell for all eternity.

Read 2 Thessolonians. It and Matthew 24 tells us what is comining and WHO is coming.

In the next several month you will see what I said is true. At that point, Revelation will begin like a bad play book.

Every knee will bow either in this dimension or the next. Aliens did not take us but that is the "lie" the Bible talks about that people will believe.

Aliens did not seed us....They will say that too. Ok...so WHO MADE THEM? Is the question. They are fallen angels who were thought to be gods of old. They will return.

They are the enemy of God who loves you and desires a right relationship with Him. Mark my words...you will remember this post.

 Quoting: Once4All

Not really sure where the oil spill is going. But what I found very interesting is the fact that the water has a reddish color to it. Even if that color was made by combining the dispersant, it still turned reddish. This is such a foreshadowing of that time where the waters will turn to "blood." I don't think this is "IT" because we are not to that point by any stretch. But, it is a real foreshadowing and a definite preview of things to come.

I do not suggest that I have special insight as to how the waters of the earth will turn to "blood", in that time during the Great Tribulation, and blood can mean a few different things. It could mean literally blood, some substance that turns the waters red, some sort of dust from meteors, etc. Those details are not given to us. But what I do know is that it means DEATH of the waters.

In watching this oil thing unfold we can see how it is possible for death to come to the sea. It's a small and local event for now (considering the vastness of the oceans) but in that time it will be on a larger scale altogether. For God to show us this in a snapshot only confirms what he has to say.

I am with you on whose fault this is. This is the direct result of human sin. Rather than blame God or wonder where God is, I see it as the sheer horror of what humans can do to themselves when they tell God to get lost. It's horrible and it's awful. It's hard to reason how God could "allow" such a thing. God is giving humans exactly what they want. The majority of the world wants to continue in depravity. But he is still speaking to the world in his mercy and giving us more time. It is really by his mercy that we can witness this, and have opportunity to understand what time we live in and have more time to tell our loved ones about Jesus Christ. There is an urgency now that is palpable to the body.

It's all there just like he said it would be. As painful as it is to watch, it is comforting to know his words are true. I appreciate the God never sugar coated the reality of the way things are even when it is hard to bear. Certainly you have also felt the sadness of the holy Spirit for what is to come. God has feelings and I know he hurts for what he is going to have to do. I know because I feel his grieving in my sprit. You too? This also tells me the time is near.

I'm with you bro.

Due of what you proffer, and how you do it, OP, you are unbeknownst an agent of division. Your "either you're a member of 'the club' or not"-mentality divides like no other, all the more so when 'the club' is deemed to have some sort of implied or impart-able 'power of salvation'.

Quite the opposite of anything Pure in Spirit, your beliefs serve only to segregate. Quite opposite of all that is of True, Honest Being, your words, implied collective dogma and dissonant 'remote receptions' serve merely to polarize, misguide and lead to divergence of being.

Antithical to what may be apparent on the surface of the paradigm you perpetuate, the core implications of the doctrine you profess as "truth" beguiles the unaware receiver not unlike the ways of the 'demonic' (warped) mindset.

Your ignorance of Universal functioning and the way of all things of Pure substance and alignment is excusable – now from today you cannot say that you did not know otherwise.

Nonetheless, carry on as you must - all Truth eventually shows itself and all else shall pass away,

Jesus already did say the end is near, before he left earth 2,000 or so years ago. Then he gave specific signs that would point to that specific time. And, he said this openly so we all could know. That time appears to be the time we live in now.

To reiterate or restate the original words of Jesus seems acceptable.

Very good points, thanks!

With all the 'signs' in the news I just thought i would share.

If this oil leak spoils a great amount of the food chain then millions - if not billions - of people could starve to death.

And this is not God's fault, or the fault of Jesus, or the fault of the church. This is the Sin of Man at work in the world causing even more misery and doom!

Yes, excellent post. I think everyone is beginning to feel the grief that comes from all of the foolish behavior humanity has done and is still doing. I think God's prophetic word will become clearer and clearer as this tragedy unfolds.

Re: The Lord Jesus Says, "The End Is Near!"

The Bible also says signs will appear to warn us the time is near but knowing the time is near isn't the same as knowing exactly when it will happen! blink

Your logic is seriously flawed but logic is pure mathematics and everyone knows peeps math generally sucks and it is obvious your math is no different! scratching
