You all do realize what it would mean if they could prove beyond a doubt that this was Noah's Ark? First of all it would mean that the events of Genesis 6 really happened. Second it would also mean that flood was indeed a planet wide flood. Third it would mean that all the scoffers and people saying that the Bible writers had merely revamped an old local Sumerian flood myth had it backwards, that all the Sumerian mythos is a vast and wide distortion and corruption of what really happened.

The list of ramnifications of such a discover is vast and profound.

It would mean that the Darwian theory of evolution and its futher evolved theories are a POS. It would also mean that Geology would have to completely rethink every thing it thinks it knows about the Earths' history.

The list goes on and on.


Which is why, even if they had actually found it, they would NEVER let us know the "truth". Kind of like the reason to never let us know that we're NOT alone here on the big blue marble...It would utterly destroy the control mechanisms that they've spent thousands of years, and generation after generation of refining and putting in to place...
