I've been told Jesus was God. So why would He refer to Himself as a different person? If Jesus was referring to God when He knew himself to be God, it must of been in order to confuse or deceive others. And that makes no sense whatsoever.

But then this contradicts other things he said, such as - "Why do you call me good? No one is good BUT my father."

So they ignore the parts where he says worship God ALONE, and follow the parts where he appears to say he is God.
