Its a big, sad, weepy hole in my heart! Sooooo sad right now! and I can't determine if its from the state of our country, lack of patriotism, lack of leadership, missappropiation, or what? I was raised to be a patriotic, God loving/fearing, honest, hard-working American and those qualities seem to be naught right now in this time and age...where were these bp employees and politicians raised? They all need to sit back and ask themselves, "Who's your Mama? And how were you raised? What is most important to you? and Who will you answer to when its all said and done?" ? I want to know when these very serious decisions are being made that the person representing my (my husband, and kids) is making a good, conscious decision based on good morals and ethics. Not the amount of money they can gain and not what their bosses would want...they need to think about what is good for the people they represent, their families, friends, co-workers, fellow peers! Please...this is our state, our country, our livelihoods! Thinks about someone other than yourself! remember the golden rule: Do unto others, as you would others do unto yourself! Its still stands!

If you read between the words during all of these press conferences, these measures aren't really expected to work. They hope to get lucky.

Their hope is in the relief wells, months down the road.

I think BP is a group of assholes, including the British government, OUR Federal Government and it's associated assholes. All big balled governments with any oil drilling inland or oceanic, should have a failsafe plan in case of any catastrophic event. MONEY is more important than safety, it always has been and it always will be.

BTW, if you want to point fingers, you will soon realize that you share some of the blame, just as I do.

The real question will be whether BP is allowed to SELL one single drop of oil from these "relief" wells...their original lease was for ONE WELL, now they have TWO relief wells and TWO more in the works!

By the time they get FOUR relief wells pumping, the pressure will be reduced so they can FINALLY plug the hole. If they sealed it off NOW, they would NEVER drill in the Gulf again!

I have a feeling they have no expectations for any of these leak mitigation steps. It is all distraction/busy work until they can get the relief wells dug.

I am mulling the conspiracy theory that Earth's infamous well Poisoners set the blowout to happen on the great masonic anniversary for doing such things. Waco, Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma, Hitler's Birthday, and now Earth Death, all at the same time give or take a few hours. Get the picture?

What if that other guy is right and there's another bigger leak a few miles away that was caused earlier by BP and kept from coming to the surface by chemicals until they had time to sink the rig. What if this latest blowout is a cover to keep the sheep blinded. Maybe that's why they are doing too little too late, on purpose.

Yep. Thing I wonder is what happens during those months while waiting for the relief well. Will the average folk out there keep watching American Idol and whatever else they do? Will the stock market keep going up as more and more water/land is contaminated..

Cutting corners to get the job done fast and at least expense. Ignoring safety protocols, while using their cosy relationship with government via generous campaign contributions to escape scrutiny. Using spin and propaganda to distract the masses, while using toxic dispersant to keep the mess out of sight out of mind. Threatening arrest and prosecution for anyone outside the chain of command trying their best to contain the spill.

Looking for the solution from those who create the problem.
