BREAKING! Simmons Calls For Obama to Kick Out BP; Military To Nuke Oil Leak | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 970323 United States 05/30/2010 01:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The announcer says something like "looks like BP has even bigger problems (than the leaking riser) several miles away." Quoting: Anonymous Coward 530536Okay, if something is leaking several miles away, and they have stated 5 or 6 miles away in the past, how is that BP's problem? What are they saying exactly? According to Simmons there is a minor leak at the wellhead/riser and there is a major leak 5 or 6 miles away. How does the major leak line up with the blowout leak at the wellhead and why does the other leak have anything to do with BP? How about this for a guess: they caused another blowout while drilling one of the relief wells. THAT would make it BP'S problem, wouldn't it. They would be drilling the relief wells about 5 or 6 miles away from the first well. The relief well blewout and now there are two gushers 6 miles apart. I bet that's it. I think what is coming to light is that the other gusher was also drilled by BP and abandoned to try again 5 miles away. |

Right, I'm wondering if somebody else thought that a little odd..... So they bring in the Military option. Is that what we really want? Somebody on this forum, I forgot who but it was one of the ladies brought up a very valid point. It was called "The New Madrid Fault Zone" and yes it runs through the Gulf of Mexico. Do we want to be nuking around that? What about the Methane Hydrates? How about just enough dynamite to shove around just enough earth to close this thing? Last Edited by FatalWishes on 05/30/2010 01:15 AM They should take the warning labels off of everything and let stupidity sort itself out. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 986137 Brazil 05/30/2010 01:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Excellent videos especially the Bloomberg interview - coming from this Simmons guy says a great deal. He raises an interesting question as to where this larger plume is coming from. Perhaps that explains the weird response from POTUS and BP - I think they know that something larger than a simple well explosion is going on under the Gulf. While we are watching the cams, they are looking at what is causing the large plumes - and I surmise it's the earth shifting, whatever you want to call it. Quoting: Texas Uncensored............. The Horizon had what was called a catastophic accident about 6 months ago. I saw nothing at all explaining what happened. I have a gut feeling this gusher 5 miles away was that accident. I also suspect pressures they didn't expect as the culprit. Maybe that is why the rush of BP officials to ignore safety, and make that final bad decision before the rig blew. Cover makes sense for me, Texas. |

What is what you've come to understand from previous interviews? That BP abandoned a well that's now gushing? Give me a break. I've seen every interview with Simmons and no one has EVER given any sort of explanation whatsoever about what the man is referring to. I've commented on Simmons' interviews at length. They make no sense whatsoever. I've heard two different interviews in which he says that the leak at the riser is just oil escaping from the riser which he postulates is "still attached to the rig." After 40 days the oil, under pressure, is just escaping oil from a mile long riser, according to Simmons. I also heard him say that the major leak might be a natural fissure or fracture in the seabed. How would THAT BE BP'S PROBLEM? He also implied that the major leak was the original wellhead but he never explained what the riser was doing 6 miles away. In other words, Simmons is either total BS disinfo agent, which is quite possible. Or, Simmons knows exactly what the story is, but can't reveal it so he just keeps postulating nonsense, or simply omitting the CAUSE of the major eruption because WE JUST CAN'T TAKE THE TRUTH. If it's BP's problem, and the relief well was being drilled 5 or 6 miles away, FIGURE IT IS THE RELIEF WELL BLOWING OUT. |

MONTHS! Actually they may have opened it up way faster than they planned to. I know you keep trying desperately to bury my comments, but I'm going to keep repeating them. HOW WOULD A GUSHER 5 OR 6 MILES AWAY BE BP'S PROBLEM??? IT WOULD ONLY BE BP'S PROBLEM IF IT WAS IN SOME WAY RELATED TO THE CURRENTLY KNOWN GUSHER. THAT SPELLS RELIEF WELL. THE RELIEF WELL IS PROBABLY SPEWING MORE OIL RIGHT NOW THAN THE ORIGINAL WELL AND THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH TWO GUSHING WELLS. WHY WOULD THEY LET THIS GUY ONTO NATIONAL NEWS PROGRAMS TO SAY THIS CRAZY SHIT???? THEY'RE FLOATING THIS INFORMATION AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT KIND OF RESPONSE IT'S GOING TO GET. GLP IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE TESTING GROUNDS. WELL GUYS, THIS IS THE RESPONSE. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO FIGURE IT'S THE RELIEF WELL REALLY QUICK. MAYBE YOU BETTER FORGET ABOUT SIMMONS AND HIS MAGICAL MOBILE RISER STORY. |
