Can anyone tell me how the relief-drillings trough miles of rock under the seafloor, will exactly reach the 18inch(?) pipeline.....seems completely immpossible to me.....anyone.....

The Horizon had what was called a catastophic accident about 6 months ago. I saw nothing at all explaining what happened. I have a gut feeling this gusher 5 miles away was that accident. I also suspect pressures they didn't expect as the culprit.

I've seen every interview with Simmons and no one has EVER given any sort of explanation whatsoever about what the man is referring to.

I've commented on Simmons' interviews at length. They make no sense whatsoever.

I've heard two different interviews in which he says that the leak at the riser is just oil escaping from the riser which he postulates is "still attached to the rig."

After 40 days the oil, under pressure, is just escaping oil from a mile long riser, according to Simmons.

I also heard him say that the major leak might be a natural fissure or fracture in the seabed.

How would THAT BE BP'S PROBLEM?

He also implied that the major leak was the original wellhead but he never explained what the riser was doing 6 miles away.

In other words, Simmons is either total BS disinfo agent, which is quite possible.

Or, Simmons knows exactly what the story is, but can't reveal it so he just keeps postulating nonsense, or simply omitting the CAUSE of the major eruption because WE JUST CAN'T TAKE THE TRUTH.

If it's BP's problem, and the relief well was being drilled 5 or 6 miles away, FIGURE IT IS THE RELIEF WELL BLOWING OUT.

I think were all over looking that there just might be a bigger hole a couple miles away. And they're playing around with this little leak to make you not realize theres a much bigger gusher a couple miles away.

Maybe they could take all the fish and birds they kill and shoot them into the BOP and block the oil that way.

Same thought came to me an hour ago.....we will soon find out, when or if other wells start popping....if so, we can definitly say goodbye....

you can not stop this leak because there is to much pressure . you have to drill again oke it will take time but its the only solution .

THAT SPELLS RELIEF WELL. THE RELIEF WELL IS PROBABLY SPEWING MORE OIL RIGHT NOW THAN THE ORIGINAL WELL AND THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH TWO GUSHING WELLS.

i don't think the nuke would work effectively in oily waters as clear waters. Theres just not enough oxygen for the nuke to fully ignite and explode
