I know why they let Greece in, like the many other small countries and the ones who negotiate now. Imagine an EU with only the "richest" countries in. First of all, it wouldnt be a european union, just some countries union. Then their currency would be so strong, they wouldnt be able to sell their products to the poorer countries, which are their main buyers. And in a time of recession like this, this would be catastrophic for them.
