At the core of every problem lies a paradox
At the core of every problem lies a paradox

A paradox is a logical impossibility. Thus, by definition, there is no logical solution to a paradox . The suffering we experience when dealing with our psychological problems is because we believe that there is something in our existence begging for a solution. But the need for formalization of a paradox into a 'problem' is in itself in contradiction with the very nature of a paradox: paradoxes are transgressive, transcendental constructs; to actually "solve" a paradox you have to go beyond "solving" -- you have to accept the paradox ("problem") as IT IS, which is something that humans are clearly unable to do.

A drug addict, for example, is only able to quit his addiction when he realizes how deep inside he wants to take drugs at the same time that he does not want it. He alternates between the two conflicting behaviors, and yet both states coexist in his mind. He is essentially in contradiction with himself, and he is ignoring this contradiction; he is ignoring this paradox.

So, the answer to all psychological problems lies in the possibility of you being honest with yourself by accepting your problems, which are paradoxes after all.

In truth, paradoxes appear to be contradictions, but they actually express a non-dual truth: the coexistence of opposites.

When you accept that coexistence of opposites is possible, you reach the end of the logical equation of the universe, you reach total and uncorrupted wholeness in your thinking process.

There is a fourth law of logic unknown to mankind called the law of the paradox. When you accept this law then you no longer see mutual exclusiveness of concepts: A and non-A are the same!

Cease dualistic thinking and you are on the path for spiritual self-realization. Dualistic thinking is the disease of the mind.

CONCEPTUAL THOUGHTS ARE THE OBSTACLE TO SELF REALIZATION

The main goal and end of all spiritual paths is..... THE ENDING OF DUALISTIC CONCEPTUAL THINKING because....

THE DUALISTIC THOUGHTS OF THE MIND ARE THE ONLY VEILING CURTAIN BETWEEN YOU AND WAHE GURU.

Dualistic means seeing things as separate and distinct, of perceiving contrasts and differences instead of recognizing the single unity and same source substance within all diversity.

Example: Perceiving millions of seemingly separate and different waves instead of the reality of the one ocean alone (which is all the waves). The waves are a mere temporary appearance within the one ocean which is permanent.

Again - THE DUALISTIC THOUGHTS OF THE MIND ARE THE ONLY VEILING CURTAIN BETWEEN YOU AND THE INFINITE

CEASING DUALISTIC THOUGHTS OPENS THE CURTAIN AND REVEALS THE SUPREME REALITY. The truth is hidden by the ego, but the ego is only a product of the mind and comes to life only when the mind sub-consciously thinks the 'I' thought which precedes all other conscious thoughts. The ego which is absolutely required to falsely makes us percieve that we are only the body, cannot exist for a moment without the mind and it's subconscious 'I' thought.

Again, the only veil between you and Wahe Guru is the dualistic thoughts of the mind (whereby you are the body 'I' and everything else is separate and distinct). Cease dualistic thoughts, and the veil is lifted and Wahe Guru is seen everywhere and within everything - as your true Self and the real Self of all.

Ceasing dualistic thoughts is the only means by which one's real nature and in fact the true nature of ALL existence is ultimately recognized and experienced. The ceasing of dualistic conceptual thoughts is the end of all religious/spiritual paths. All other disciplines, doctrines, scriptures, etc, exist merely to keep one occupied and ultimately make one ripe and mature enough to eventually tackle the main task of renouncing and ceasing our attachment to conceptual dualistic thoughts.

The real aim of all spiritual paths to truth is ultimately nothing other than the dissolving of the mind back into it's life source which is the heart. Dissolving the mind by ceasing all conceptual thoughts also kills the ego since ego like the mind is created only by dualistic thoughts. With the ego killed and the mind resting in it's life source - the heart - the one Wahe Guru described with many labels is directly experienced as the sole reality within ALL existence.

In reality mind and ego exist only due to a collection of dualistic thoughts, when such thoughts come to an end, so does the false world illusion and one awakens to the underlying eternal reality, the substratum of the whole show.

The mind in the highest reality is illumined only by the light of the heart, the heart is the sun and the mind is the moon. When the mind (moon) is subdued and dissolved in it's source - the heart (sun), at that point the heart becomes the master and the mind the obedient servant, instead of the other way around.

From the absolute viewpoint....

SO LONG AS DUALISTIC CONCEPTUAL THOUGHTS EXIST...
THE UNREAL APPEARS REAL, AND THE REAL UNREAL

Re: At the core of every problem lies a paradox
i actually delved into the power of paradoxes philosophically myself and have started to write a book on it...
