This isn't probably the best place to post this as it's a little off topic...but
I grew up in a family where my father was a deacon in a Congregational Church and my mother was New Age before there was a New Age.
I had to go to church with my father but grew up reading Edgar Casey,Jean Dixon and Fate Magazines that my mother liked to read.
I'm from NH and after the Betty and Barney Hill UFO incident in the White Mountains I would go out with my mother and sister at night and look for flying saucers...I was probably around 9 or 10 at the time. So I was immersed in traditional as well as new age thought from a very early age.
I remember telling my father that if I could live in any time I thought I'd like to live when Jesus walked or in the end times where I thought it would be neat to witness the power of Gods wrath. My logic was that none of us were getting out of this alive so might as well witness something really cool.

I'm 58 this year and beginning to think I just might get to see something really cool....Be careful what you wish for!
It just might be a hell of a ride!

I just took a look at it and have to agree that it's not Venus!
Stellarium places Venus below the horizon and this body is high in the NW sky! There is nothing of that magnitude showing in that program at that location.
