Any sovereign nation has a right to defend its borders, NO MATTER WHO IS THE ONE VIOLATING THAT SPACE.
Israel gave a warning and they acted on it when it was ignored.
I don't see that they did anything wrong.
The point of contention is that it was not in fact Israels space to defend.
