Everyone on this thread is wrong. Some are race-baiters. I know the full and detailed answer to this question but I cannot tell. The most serious part of being a mason is keeping secrets. The higher you go, the more that is revealed to you. Someone on here thought that masons were from Egypt and something to do with muslims. Ha ha. Wrong. Try long before Mohamed was ever heard of. They feared losing their power to the Knights Templar who were descendants of the Origional Freemasons. George Washington started the first Masonic lodge in the United States. Freemasons were always white and will always be white. There are black masons but they are not taught everything. I was worried about the Internet and release of the history. I was told that the masons have put out so much misinformation on the web that people won't be able to tell truth from fiction. I've googled it. I was apparently told right. I giggled as I read. Have you ever wondered how after the civil war that blacks fled to the northeast in large numbers just in case war broke out again? That's why DC is as full of blacks as it is and black on black crime. Have you noticed how all the army armor divisions, special forces, airborne, ranger, air force and naval bases are in the southern states. Yea there's a few bases in the north but the best of the best are all strategically located in the south. All this happened after the south lost the civil war. There haven't been blacks in the masons ever in the history of the Freemasons. Yes there are black lodges now but they're not fully educated on the secrets and never will be. Masons and the strategic planning of our best bases in the southern states is be design. Masons control every important part of our country from law enforcement to military at the highest levels and our money. They are behind everything as protectors just as the knights Templars were. They're the lasting of defense and will keep our government from ever overstepping it's boundaries. Just a few little things to think about guys!

My grandfather has been a Mason for over 65 years and I can tell you blacks are not allowed to be Freemasons, nor should they be! They have their own organizations and we have ours.

Authentic Freemasons are white from what I've been told. They shun blacks claiming to be Masons like those prince Hall folks from what I understand. It's a big deal in some parts of the country. I don't know the specifics as I'm not a Mason but there is much more to it than skin color from what I gather and they are genuinely offended by the black groups claiming to be Masons.

Been reading some of the posts about black people being true freemasons, and I do not feel one single inkling of God coming from the comments. Truly this secret society, which my father was one, and yes he is white...are for idol worshipers. Loved my father, but people use these societies for position and ranking in life. Freemasons go way back in history and have lots of evil attached to it and some good. Why would you want to become part of a secret society? God Loves all those that believe Christ died on the cross for you and each of us who believe in Him. What greater sacrifice than Him for us..God Loves his creation. Why would you want to join or become part of anything except a desciple of God. Be wary of those socieites like Freemasons that worship idols and have rituals that only let some people in. Do your homework, and beware.
