Secondly, nothing will happen. Turkey and Israel have military contracts.
Thirdly, the IDF Commandos got their asses kicked by people wielding sticks and knives and now they are crying about it. That should tell you what kind of force Israel has. Watch the videos. The IDF wasted a few people then the people stopped fighting. Otherwise all the IDF Commandos would have been sent overboard.
Iran, Syria, and Lebanon will lay waste to Israel.

If a couple burly Turks armed with, as you say, sticks and knives, can beat up a dozen armed commandos, what do you think Turkey's tenfold advantage in naval power will do?
Israel has 3 subs, Turkey has 14 with 6 more either on trial or near completion. Israel has no frigates, Turkey has 19. Israel has no mine layers, Turkey has 25. Israel's sea based naval airpower consists basically of three choppers, one for each of their corvettes. By the way, Turkey has 7 corvettes, and 49 choppers that are sea based.
I think Israel is just crazy enough to nuke Turkey, though, which is just going to be a horrible time all around. If this indeed happens, you can expect that the entire middle east will basically mass attack Israel. Even if they manage to nuke everybody in the area, the other muslim nations will respond.
I suspect that the Israeli nukes are being kept track of by Uncle Sam, and that if Israel does deploy one of them their storage sites will be instantly leveled and their subs will be popped open as well. Israel does not maintain long range, nuclear capable bombers on 24 hour air patrol, and would have no real way to retaliate.
I think if Israel uses large nuclear weapons it will be in really, really serious shit and that country will cease to effectively exist not more than a few hours afterward.
