Video games are good therapy and a way to decompress after
a chaotic work day. I love my xbox. That..and Seinfeld reruns.

well the truth is its hyped up to be more powerfull, but nobody has seen it yet.

Also sony have a past record of exaggerating their console power, as do microsoft.

The truth is the Ps3 will be very hard to program for, in comparison to the xbox 360.

And you will aslo be waiting well into next year to you get your hands on one.

Wait till E3 demonstrations to get more idea of what the consoles will do.

but from what i already know about the xbox360(it does more stuff interms of compatibility with your windows pc,, MUCH more)
3 symetric 64 bit IBM cores is rediculas processing power. So is the sony cell chip.

They will both offer astonishing graphics.
Hoever only onto a flat unimmersive 2D screen.

oh well maybe next time, we will get the total emmersion VR system like in red dwarf.

Man, the PS3 will do 2.8 Terraflops! 100 billion pixels! I mean, it´s the most powerful PC now on Earth! more than 10 times powerful than XBOX 360, and about 50 times more powerful than the more powerful PC! It´s what I´m gonna get next year!

I think overall the xbox 360 has it in the looks department... wheras the ps3 is going for the chrome and silver look like an old buick or something. I haven´t really had a chance to see the new Nintendo system so I can´t really make a comment on that.

Remember people...SONY did this when they started hyping up the PS2 back about 5 years ago...They promised the world...showed unbelievable demos and when it hit...everything sucked in terms of thier promises...the games were below Sega Dreamcast levels in graphics and everything looked bad...The thing in my opinion never lived up to the initial hype.....SONY has just shown smoke and mirrors before and they may be doing it again. I think the XBOX 360 will be a LOT better then what they have shown so far about it...Its got some interesting ideas on it. I mean look at what they did with the XBOX, They may be slow out of the gates again but I think will pick up a lot of steam when HALO 3 comes out, which cleverly is coming out the same day as the PS3. The PS3 does look amazing and if SONY is telling the truth, well, they´ll win round 3....To much still to learn about both of them though...oh lets not forget about the Nintendo REvolution...could be a darkhorse here but with Nintendos penchant for cute kiddy games They are looking bad...still too early to tell though...

My master plays Ps2 and gamecube.

He says through all of the levels, that this is a chore.

Did you see the KILLZONE video from E3!!! and the F1 and well all of them are out of this world. They showed a real time tech demo of unreal 3 engine which looked as good as the final fantasy movie.

the tech demo of london was so icredible. I just cant wait for grand theft auto to come out in that quality.

man the ps3s controller looks like a really bad 3rd party controller... in fact i think mad cats made one that looked just like that for the ps1 way back when...

PS3 will do 218 Gigaflops, that is .218 Teraflops.

XBox 360 will do 1 teraflop, that is 1000 gigaflops.

Yeah the demos of Killzone and a few others were awesome...but they were never actually said to be actual gameplay in game graphics...what this represents is an idea of what can possibly be done with the hardware...but if Killzone was in game pameplay then hell yes...absolutely amazing....I HATE the controllers for it though...WTF are they thinking...boomerangs? someone is gonna lose an eye with one of those LOL

The ps3 looked good but the Killzone2 preview was partially fake. If it actually looks that good I will buy it. The XBOX 360 looked a lot smaller than I thought. I know all of us HALO fans will pick XBOX 360. At E3 the Nintendo revolution looked sweet.I suggest trying to pick up all three consoles if they turn out to be as good as they looked at E3.

Face it, you´ll be shelling out $400.00+ (US) for a "game player".
When in fact you can buy a PC that can do the

PCs are good but they usually run way more expensive in the end run if you want to really run the latest games...Im personally a console player and always have been.
