Agreed... they do not think things through enough and there is a good chance they are going to have problems with them.

How Many F'ing times are they going to have to clear those damn blue hoses??? Who designed that????

Let's send a diver down to clear those hoses, never trust a machine when you can do it yourself.

I think they only made the whole line situation worse...

a while back i was talking about 3d methods with someone and i got thinking about it. if they embedded sensors on all the objects down there it would be an easy way to provide a virtual reality type of 3d environment to the operaters. the rovs get retrofitted, all objects get tagged w/sensors that outline the object. get vr for the operators. they could use tactile feed back to "feel" through the rov

They have to have a way to secure the cap on. maybe those hoses are to activate the lockdown or are they methanol lines? either way, if they bust them oil will most likely leak out!

Could be, or I was thinking maybe they're just legs for it to sit on when it's on the surface, to keep the weight off the grommet.

And notice there's a T-shaped thing (a valve handle?) hanging from the side of the cap, just above the grommet. I think it fell off one of the ROVs after the blue hose got snagged on it a while ago.

Guess we'll just have to start all over and disconnect all the line and then reconnect them. Better go grab a pizza and come back because it looks like this could be a while.

Why keep pumping the methyanol?

Wow I did not realise how bad of a cut they made, earlier it looked nice, but now it looks absolutely terrible. :(
