United States Oklahoma Region Earthquake Increases Cataclysmic Event Probability ‘100 Fold’ Russian Scientists Report

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Russian Subscribers

Russian Scientists are reporting today that the chances of a cataclysmic earthquake event occurring in the Americas has increased over 100 fold following the earthquake this week in the United States Oklahoma Region and which has shown the probability of the Meer’s Fault Line in that region awakening.

The 2.9 magnitude event in the Oklahoma Region on May 16th has been preceded by: May 16th, 1.6 magnitude event in the Tennessee Region; May 15th, 1.5 magnitude event in the Southeastern Missouri Region; May 13th, 1.6 magnitude event in the Southeastern Missouri Region; May 1st, 4.1 magnitude event in the Arkansas Region; April 21st, 3.0 magnitude event in the Texas and Oklahoma Region.

Re: United States Oklahoma Region Earthquake Increases Cataclysmic Event Probability ‘100 Fold’ Russian Scientists Report
I found a few mistakes in what this report said.

First of all I live about 20 miles just North of that Meers fault line.
If there was an earthquake on the 16th, I didn´t feel anything, nor have I heard anything about it until now.

But I was living in Lawton in 1997, when they say a 2 pointer earthquake hit . Lawton is about 20 miles South of that Meers fault line. That earthquake was not a 2 pointer. It was a 5 something. I remember it very well, since it was the first earthquake I had ever been in.

But in addition to that, it was not Oklahoma´s first earthquake. There was a report when the 1997 one occurred that there had been one sometime during the 50´s.
So thats in itself shows the information presented is not accurate.

Well you know George I wasnt stupid enough to go looking for the 16th info after seeing the obvious lies printed about the previous earthquakes in Oklahoma.
I know that area very well.
I know where the seismograph is located in Meers. I´ve touched the damn thing. It´s inside an old restaurant where you can get yourself a huge "MeersBurger".
For someone who pretends to be so smart, maybe you should read what I posted again. I didnt say it didn´t happen on the 16th. I said I didn´t feel it if it did happen.

I don´t get the debunking on this, the article that Sorcha wrote links directly to the USGS reports about the earthquakes so how can they not be true? Are you saying that the USGS is lying about these earthquakes too?

The Drudge Report even had a posting on the Oklahoma earthquake because they are so rare there.

I personally don´t see anything wrong with preparing oneself and family for disasters. Here in Florida being prepared was the only thing that really saved us last year when we lost power for over a week. We had a generator, extra water and food too. None of our neighbors ´debunked´ us either.

Once again SF/Booth betrays their complete lack
of any understanding when it comes to mid-plate
tectonics. Earthquakes below a 3.0 are not often
felt, and to claim that anything under a 2 is a
sign of anything is pattenly ridiculous. The
New Madrid fault zone is not related to any other
seismic zone on the plate. There is no connection
between the quakes in the New Madrid zone and
anywhere else. And there has always been a high
risk of a 6.0 in the New Madrid zone, seismologists
have been waring that for 2 decades now. We are
overdue for one that size. Once again SF/Booth
tries to tie unrelated items together in a lame
attempt to fearmonger.

Well, with an estimated average of 130,000 quakes
in the 3.0 to 3.9 range every year that works out
to 356.1 quakes in that range PER DAY. Both areas
are siesmically active and minor quakes like those
are not unusual. When there is something out of
the ordinary please point it out. So far quake
activity is the same as it has been for a very long
time now.

Hey, postman, you gonna go to NYC and take in a Scorcha seminar in Aug? Maybe CT will be going. Something tells me that it will require a monetary sacrifice to prove your worthy to absorb the awesome gnostastical knowlege that will be spewed fortha. Good thing that it´s not happening any later because aparently we´re in for another cataclysmic doom blast. I´m sure Scorch will delay our destruction until after the money is counted, nice of her, unless the evil jews are planning something nasty for her NYC vist. In that case I would anticipate a cancelation and lack of refundage, a gnostastical lesson in monetary redistribution. Watch out for tidal waves if your on the coast, just had a 5 sumthin out in the Atlantic and you remember how that scorched that cruise ship last time. I wonder how scorcha plans to make it past the SSB shocker troops and outsmart our evil dragon masters to give a lecture in NYC. I guess we´re safe till then, I feel much better now.

It´s easy to debunk this.
This site lists Oklahoma´s largest earthquakes.

Here´s another that lists just Oklahoma 1997 earthquakes.

There´s a small fault in Oklahoma, small earthquake are not that unusual. The fault line runs along the Wichita Mountains which are just foothills. No big deal. In 51 we had a 5 pointer here 60 miles away.

Us mere mortals don´t understand the Fantasmagnostical nature of being wrong again and again and again. Remember it´s not the words themselves you are supposed to be reading or the actual meanings of what those words mean in like a dictionary or something as mundane as that. Apparently it´s some kind of super secret message that only a select few can understand. I believe it works like this. Say I said to my wife that I would like us to go out to dinner tonight. That would really mean that the vet called and it´s time to take the dog in for a checkup. It works like that. I was going to work on a decoding program, but I doubt even Steven Hawkings could come up with one that would work consistantly, it´s that Gnostasticaly deep. Or is it? Or does that mean it is or is not is. That´s why it´s posted on whatdoesitmean.com, because that´s what it means.

>>>>"There´s a small fault in Oklahoma, small earthquake are not that unusual. The fault line runs along the Wichita Mountains which are just foothills. No big deal."

I can´t believe the amount of bullshit being posted here, and not from Sorcha Faal but from the rest of you idiots posting your crap.

For anyone to say that the earthquakes in the New Madrid Fault Zone or the Meers Fault in Oklahoma don´t mean anything are complete idiots who have no knowledge or understanding as to why the USGS rates this area with their highest level warning possible.

Most of these idiot posters are the same ones who prior to the Sumatra earthquake and tsunami were debunking all the warning signs and precurser small earthquakes happening there too.

As far as I´m concerned Sorcha Faal´s article is right on the money and anyone that doesn´t heed her advice to prepare deserves what is going to happen to them.

For you idiots posting your debunking BullShit I´d suggest you post links to the factual information that backs up your words, instead of your infantile opinions.

"Prior to 1977, Oklahoma had about 129 known earthquakes (Fig. 6). From 1977 through 1989, over 650 additional earthquakes were located in Oklahoma, mostly of magnitudes less than 2.5 (Fig. 7). The network has enabled the Oklahoma Geological Survey to identify areas not known to previously be seismically active. For example, most of the earthquakes between Norman and Pauls Valley would have gone undetected if the network was not operational."
[link to geophysics.ou.edu]

The Meers fault is a crack in the earth´s crust. The 15-mile-long fault can be seen from the air. This fault is special. It is the only fault that breaks the surface of the Earth east of the Rocky Mountains. The fault is a part of the Wichita Mountains, the oldest mountains in North America. Once they were higher than the Rocky Mountains. But as the wind blew and the rain fell for millions of years, they were worn down.
[link to www.sirinet.net]

"Damaging earthquakes in the "stable" interior of continental plates pose a serious threat to millions of people and critical facilities throughout the world. Despite this threat, the long-term behavior of seismogenic faults in stable continental regions is poorly known and has received little detailed study.

These studies supplement paleoseismologic investigations of other stable interior faults (Meers fault, Oklahoma [Crone and Luza, 1990]; Marryat Creek and Tennant Creek earthquakes in Australia [Crone and others, 1992; Machette and others, 1993] and complement our continuing efforts to examine Quaternary faults in the central U.S. as part of the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program. Our studies were funded jointly by the USGS’s National Earthquake Hazard Reduction Program and by a grant from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission."
