My rheumatologist has prescribed 800mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours. Can be taken with as much as 1000mg of Tylenol every 4 hours.
That's four OTC 200mg tablets but I have a prescription for the 800mg single tablet. No difference.
NEVER EVER aspirin with either of those!!!!
MUST be taken with food or milk.

No alcohol, not one drop, until you have stopped taking ibuprofen for at least 24 hours. Or Tylenol or aspirin too. Alcohol and any of these 3 drugs in any combo or alone will burn holes in your liver. Watched some of my relatives die horrid deaths.
