With everything going on in the world, it can happen at any time. Anyone that was going through the "flash crash" last month knows the realistic feeling that it can all be over in minutes.

A one day crash is simply impossible as they will close down the market or manipulate it so it can't crash.

what can happen is what happened during the problems of the sub prime crises the markets will loose a lot of value this will start slowly because not all investors wander on glp to be doomish like we are.

They will continue to short positions and think there will be some kind of bottom soon.

When all the investors in wall street realize that there is no bottom they will understand that everything is crashing at that time every investor on the world including those in foreign countries will try to get out via the small door until it get's clogged then authorities will close the markets and try to ease the panicked investors but that won't work and when they open the markets it will be nuclear armageddon on wall street you will see a plunge of more than 2000 in the first hour of trading then they will close it again permanently to sort things out....
