If we have to risk the Earth to squeeze a few more years out of this current way of life... then that is screwed. The sooner we make it too expensive (prohibiting risky exploration), the sooner we'll move on to the next generations of energy production. I haven't bought BP gasoline in over a month (previously nearly always bought BP). I know it's mostly affecting the vendor, but then maybe he'll switch brands he sales. Hopefully BP stock drops so low they get bought out and the executives there get downsized. |

Most of them worked their way up to those positions. If you look at other bigger oil companies their board members are typically also board members in companies outside of the oil industry. oh, if BP where to sell its assets here in the US one of these other 2 big oil guys would buy it up. Tony Hayward himself has a PhD in Geology. just an FYI. |
