see i don't get hangovers but I'm Laotian that goes against the stereotype i also hear native americans are prone to alcohol

i get drunk on 6 beers....but can drink up to 14 on a good night....

Stopped drinking about 5 years ago, but when I was in my prime, a 1.75 of Crown would last me 2 days.

Only had hangovers with wine.

I don't drink anymore, but I never used to get hangovers.

A typical night (once upon a much wilder time) would include 3 friends and I chugging down a decent-sized bottle of scotch in a single sitting, with no hangover (for me) the next day.

I always attributed it to two things....I am 6'4/210 (mostly mutt, but part Scottish), and I always had a rule about cutting off the booze an hour before I planned on going to sleep, subbing it with water instead. The combo of sobering up and rehydrating meant I never had a bad hangover, no matter what.

Part Irish part French.
The Irish in me can drink a load, get pissed and wake up with a massive hangover, but then will want to do it again.

The French in me just wants to be charming and try to pull the birds.
The French side is still wondering why it hasn't pulled yet!

In my drinking days, I could drink men under the table. Usually 8-10 shots of tequila/bourbon and I could still walk. Barely, but walk I could.

Irish parents, I'm born in England. I can drink a fair old whack, doesn't take me long to get drunk but I can continue for a silly amount of hours. My hangovers are unreal these days though. Had a 3 day hangover last week.

My friend once claimed to have a cure in the shape of a scrambled egg in a mug. Needless to say, it did not fucking work.

I don't not get sick the next day from too much firewater but I do have a peculiarity about me in that I don't experience one of the main symptoms of hangovers if not the main symptom that is I don't get headaches I just get terrible pain in my throat

I don't know whether you'll want to know with me but in case 50% Croatian (paternal)ony my mums side to mostly irish followed by Scottish then English then a tiny bit of german and jewish

maybe that wasn't sickness from alchohol but from the preservatives that are in most wines

German/ Hungarian. Never get hangovers. 10 plus drinks a day. The key is to not to mix food with drink. The body detoxes the alcohol first and the food putrefies. The putrefied food releases toxins that cause the hangover. Male.

In terms of ethnicity, I am 70% data-miner, 15% asshole, and 10% sociopath. I never get hangovers because I have a 24-hour-a-day rubbing alcohol IV drip going. Its the jam and the jellyroll, son.

I have been known to finish a bottle of wine myself. Three drinks of whiskey is my limit. Past that and I get silly, happy but the goofy type of silly.

Women doesn't have a stomach enzyme that helps with alcohol. So they get drunk faster. This if , I remember correct.

How old are you? After I hit 30, I started getting 2 day hangovers. Now at 42 I rarely drink at all. The hangovers are so bad and last for three days: I'm a walking dead on the first day, sick on the second day and seriously depressed/anxious on the third day. A vague nasty feeling lasts almost for a week.

In my 20s I'd drink all night, sleep late and go out bicycling or swimming in the afternoon/evening.
