Amen! The sad part of it is this is just the beginning for them. The lasting effects of the spill in these coastal towns is just not fair. BP sux.
I don't know if anyone has considered this, but it crossed my mind the other day. What if, a major hurricane makes landfall on the gulf coast and pushes all this oil inland?
A Cat. 4 or Cat.5 would push oil serveral miles inland and into peoples homes and businesses and onto streets etc. It would kill all the vegitation it touched and possibly contaminate water supplies. After all this I seriously doubt people would allowed back in to their communities with oil covering everything. People would be forced to be displaced and unable to return to their homes. I would imagine it would be a marshall law like situation. Maybe I'm crazy but this sounds like it could become reality.

AC 978629.... I may owe you an apology, BUT, the tiny bit of info posted on that thread DID SAY the bacteria was being considered, not used. No, I didn't read the long article, but I did view a video that PROVED they oil eating bacteria DID do an excellent job in several other spills AND in a controlled experiment.
I DON'T know anything about bacteria from China, and that which WAS USED/DEMONSTRATED had NO nano particles etc. involved. Are you obfuscating to muddy/'oil up' the waters ??
