Typical of a cop!

His "manhood" was challenged and he responded with extreme violence! These testosterone driven kids should not be allowed to carry gun, at all! And they should have far better training. His weapon should never have been pulled out of his pocket unless his life was in danger - which it clearly was not.

Poor officer training and even poorer selection, IMHO. The psych screening should have washed this guy out before he even got in the front door of the academy, yet it didn't? Why?
