Recycled Christmas Cards, and Greeting cards.

I am the manager at my institution, have been for 7 years. And I am not allowed to play "send the christmas card"

I have recently been told my my district manager that I am no longer allowed to be in charge of distributing christmas cards.

It might have to do with the fact that when we received a card from the managers office, i scribbled out the to and from and reversed it and mailed it right back.

I have found that it is a good cost cutting measure to just scribble out the names and put our companys logo in.

Then I am saving a tree, and I am taking a stand against the bullshit greetings that people get paid at hallmark to create. (I put in my own bullshit greeting, over the white out.)

I have a very valued staff member with a birthday tomorrow, and I had taken it upon myself to find an old card from christmas, make it a birthday card, and I just signed it as:

Happy birthday from *our company* and the staff from this company as well (with an arrow pointing to the 50 sigs from the other company.)

Happy 40th ( I think she is in her 30´s but I didnt want to make a mistake and make her younger than she is, that may of been an insult and grounds for a harrasment suit) LOL


Well, I will letyou know how it plays outt, I may be asking people if they would like thier order supersized by the end of the week.
