Yes, King James was black. King James son and successor King Charles II is described as "very swarthy". His hair was very bushy and his nose broad. King James was a Moor. check this site out:

King James came from a long line of royal black families in England. He authorized the translation of the Biblical scrolls from Hebrew to the English language. In the bible before Genesis begins there is a letter from James which starts off as Great and manifold were the blessings.... who wished not well to our Sion(Zion). Sion means monument, the nation of Israel. In Lamentations 4:2,8 tells that the sons of Zion visage(face)were blacker that than coal meaning they were dark skinned men. The bible tells you the Hebrews (Israelites) are blacks. If man can go as far as lying and say that Christ is white then would he not lie and say King James is white too? Have you not seen the movie the last King of Scotland? The King was black!

Yes he in fact was black, he had 47 scribes translate the bible from hebrew to english inthe year 1611, 8 years later, 1619, the so called "negros" (who are in fact the real, original hebrew Israelites) fell into captivity and were brought to america where they adopted the english language. Just as the bible went from hebrew to english, the "african-american" language went from hebrew to english, king james had it translated for us www.thecomforter.info

there are black people who claim k.j. was black..just like there are white people who claim the egyptians were white... the pic i have seen of k.j. seems to appear that he was european or at the very most italian, and these features (appearing mulatto of sorts)is why many black people stay in claims he was black. if you look at the book of eli, this movie is almost identical to what happened in anceint days..the word of God fell upon the prophets of man, and indeed many prophets of the bible were jewish, or what we call black today. The person who transcribed the bible, was more than likely white.

There is no need to go to an aa neighborhood because it doesn't exist. African-American are two different nationalities and a person can not have two nationalities, only one which is that of their dad. America gets its name from an Italian named Amerigo Vespucci and Africa gets its name from a white general named Leo Africanus. Hebrew was the original language of blacks in which is no longer used because of the English language forced upon them. It is very troublesome to here blacks refer to themselves as an African-American.

If you really want to know, go to this youtube video link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgcDk8dkKSY or type in King James was a black man, on youtube.

After the death of Queen Elizabeth the First, King James became the first over England, Great Britain, France and Ireland from 1603 – 1625. He was the son of Lord Darnley and Mary Queen of Scotts who was the daughter of King Henry the 8th. Queen Mary was also sister to Queen Elizabeth, having different mothers. They were black Celtic, Anglo Saxon, and Israelite jewish people.

You may find this hard to believe, but Black jewish people took over Europe from the Roman Empire beginning in 193 AD., under a black jewish Roman General Septimius Serverus. In 330 AD the black emperor Constantine moved the capital from Rome to today’s Turkey and called it Constantinople. He establish the Holy Bible as laws in the empire over the pagan roman laws (Acts 2:5-11, Proverbs 8:15-21)

In 1453 AD descendants of white Romans in the Caucasus Mountains converted to Islam and conquered Constantinople and surrounding lands controlled by Black Christians jewish people. These were the Turks and other Caucasians took over Rome and Spain in the 13th and the 14th century (Hosea 4:8) from the 5th to the 15th century AD. This period was called the Middle Ages, Dark Ages, medieval Times or the Byzantine Empire. (Rev 20:1 Colos 3:11)

Fake Caucasians Popes ordered artist like Davinchi and Michelangelo to deface all the Black Art Icons that they could. Then they were ordered to repaint Jesus and the Israelites Saints as Caucasians instead of Negroid. This was called the renaissance era, REBIRTH. They renovated Europe from Black to White (job 9:24)

Black Israelites fled with many Scrolls and Icons to England under the protection of King James the 1st. In 1607 AD the Holy Spirit moved King James to nominate 47 learnt men and 12 final advisors to produce the 1611 Bible with the Apocrypha. These Israelites or jewish people were the best Hebrew and Greek translators of the time. The Almighty Yahawah saw 2000 years into the future and caused the 1611 bible to be preserved in English above all others knowing this world be the top language of the rich and poor today. This move offset the lying revisions of the Romans Catholic Church to destroy the Bible and cut Israel off from being restored as a nation in these latter days (psalms 83:1-5 Rev 3:3-7)

I belive these answers can be easier undstood if people would research the lineage between his Imperial Majesty Halie Salasie and Queen Elizabeth, ever wonder why they were so tight well here's your chance to research. Further more King James Older depections look very similar to that of King David which is a progression of Etheopic Kushite, Hyksos, and European bloodline. The earliest records of this bloodline would be around the time of the Nubian Dynasty.

Happy Researching, case only a fool looks to be spoon feed.

King James, Meditation on Revelation

“The Pope is Antichrist, and Popery the loosing of Satan, from whom proceedeth false doctrine and cruelty to subvert the kingdom of Christ: Now whether the Pope beareth these marks or not, let any indifferent man judge; I think surely it expounds itself: Doeth he not usurp Christ his office, calling himself universal Bishop and head of the Church? Playeth he not the part of Apollyon, and Abbadon the king of the Locusts and destroyer, or son of perdition, in chopping and changing of souls betwixt heaven, hell, and his fantastic or imagined purgatory at his pleasure? Blasphemeth he not, in denying us to be saved by the imputation of Christ his righteousness? Moreover, hath he not sent forth and abused the world with innumerable orders of locust and shavelings? Hath he not so fully ruled over the world these many hundredth years, as to the fire went he, whosoever he was, that durst deny any part of his usurped supremacy?”........“But I am sure none will condemn me for an heretic, save such as make the Pope their God...” (King James I, A Meditation on Revelation; Premonition).

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1379016

Only if she had "a little on the side" from a black courtier or servant in her court. But she was white, so was cousins Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, in fact those three all had red hair as you can see from all contemporary paintings of them and read from all historical descriptions:

Mary: [link to www.google.com]

Henry VIII: [link to www.google.com]

Elizabeth I: [link to www.google.com]

The paintings of James I (who was originally James VI of just Scotland) all show him with darker hair, but most definitely white: [link to www.google.com]

Many of these are paintings made in his lifetime, from sittings he actually sat for so they are from life. I doubt they are far from the true likeness and all seem to show a very similar looking person. (Being King, and all, he could afford only the very greatest painters to do his portrait.)
