so all the nuclear bombs that they detonated at bikini atoll,the French tests in the pacific and the American ones in the atmosphere were conventional bombs that gave off radiation,yeah right,haven't you seen any of the early films of the atomic tests,Google it.

The complexities of detonating a nuke are so incredibly precise that a nuclear war is impossible. Nukes launched at night would not even be able to get started.

The famous old movie we see of nukes exploding in the 1950s and so on took vast armies of technicians and a highly complex rigs to mount the bombs on for them to explode and only at a particular time at a certain angle to the sun. For every nuke they sucessfuly detonated hundreds of others failed. The title of the thread should be really "Is Nuclear War A Possibility" and the answer is no.
