understood :D

i preffer human psychology before all other sciences, it was a idea, that it can generate, heat or something, even if its in vacuum, but indeed heat is also a preference of air is it ?
 Quoting: Funney

Not really in the way you have worded it, Heat is just energy in the form of molecular motion.

You can do some strange things with heat, or indeed lack of it, i present to you the leidenfrost effect.

"preference" isn't a correct word to use here in this context, but I understand what you mean...

So yes, you need air, or again, molecules, to transfer heat, from one molecule to another.

Only light and other wave energies can transmit themselves through a vacuum... light becomes "heat" only when it contacts some molecules, like us on earth.

If you get a radiation shielded box and put a cat in it, but had a gas canister release trigger inside that is activated by the radiactive decay of a single atom, what happens if you leave it for 5 minutes is the cat alive or dead?
 Quoting: Atheist

1) what is the volume of the box and how big is the cat? - it could possibly suffocate in five minutes.

2)the length of time it takes for one atom to decay depends on it's atomic number.

3) what kind of gas? oxygen is a gas.

Of course it won't fly! For your question about putting the helli inside a vacuum glass container: The electrical energy will turn into kinetic (rotor) and this by friction (only mechanical friction between the static and spinning components, since there is no air to cause some friction) will turn into thermal energy that will contact to the rest of the helli's body and then to the glass container (although glass is not the best thermal conductor). Don't forget that thermal energy can also be transfered by radiation.

Ah yes OP... here are some other fun facts you can learn about vacuums...

If I put you in a room and started sucking the air out, and create a vacuum, a number of things will happen.

At first, the oxygen and nitrogen that is dissolved in your blood, will begin to "boil" out of you.

Your body will start expanding and you will look like a fat kid.

Next, blood will start squirting out of your eyeballs, your ears, your dink hole, and your bum.

As I continue to suck air out of the room, the boiling will increase up until the point you are about to burst...

THEN... JUST AS YOU EXPLODE... I suck the last remaining air molecules out of the room, and as your brains, guts, and testicles detonate like sticks of dynamite and fly in every direction in the box, they all SUDDENLY FREEZE SOLID INSTANTLY!!!

You are now Frosty the Blood Man, and the exploded you is frozen stiff in that moment where you blew up, and all of us are laughing at how your eyeballs, which are 10 feet out of your head, are staring directly at your nuts, which are only inches away from your eyeballs.

:D I love science.

That's super interesting...

That means that as you are using a rocket thruster, the gravity + air pressure of venus is such that it "steals" away the gases you've produced from the thruster so quickly, as to make them useless.

Im just more familiar and confident in that area.

I am an applied science major, familiar with bits and bobs from social sciences, genetics, microbiology, some basic circuit design, statistics.

Not sure i understand your question but...

We basically know life is possible because we are here, the rest is just statistics, life could be rare, we just dont know yet, if we start finding other life in the solar system or universe we will get a greater grasp of the figures.

You should check out something called the Drake Equation.
