[link to larouchepac.com] BP Actions In Gulf Are An Act of War Against the United States June 10, 2010 (LPAC)—"There is no question that the continuation of this problem in the Gulf, is expressly the warfare-like intention of the British Empire against the United States," charged Lyndon LaRouche on June 8. LaRouche was referring to the utter failure of British Petroleum to deal seriously with the consequences of its own murderous negligence in the case of the Deepwater Horizon drilling station—including its ongoing lies about the size of the leakage, as well as its failure to mobilize anywhere near the resources required to mitigate the damage. The British are effectively carrying out warfare against the United States, LaRouche said. In addition, "the President is a complicit traitor to the United States in this war." Obama's traitorous behavior is demonstrated, first and foremost, by the fact that he has left the handling of the crisis in the hands of the British imperial company, refusing to exercise the sovereign powers of the United States government to expropriate them, and to take over the operations to save the United States population from further devastation of their livelihood. Thus, by his failure to act, Obama has left the British criminal in charge of the crime scene, and subjected the American people to more destruction. Like the British agent he is, the President refuses to defend the United States against British depradations. "Remember, BP is the personal asset of the British monarchy," LaRouche added. "It's an imperial, Anglo-Dutch imperial entity." It is carrying out "a sabotage operation against the economy and people of the United States." The conclusion is clear: "This President must go, and must go now! He's unfit to be President, and those in elected office who support him, are not fit to be members of our government. They should git 'n scat, right now!" [link to larouchepac.com] |

Tom Watson, the former Cabinet Office minister, said: “This is now a serious crisis facing millions of pensioners in the UK and we need to say to our US allies that yes, it was a British company that made this mistake but if they were subject to a regulatory regime, they wouldn’t have been able to do that. Last para translation: "Their behavior is not their fault because they weren't forced to be responsible even though they knew better." Gawd damn unaccountable, irresponsible fucks in this world. As I stated in another thread: Obumma - and others - wouldn't be making these comments if not for the actions of BP. AND pensioners, whether British or other, would not be losing money if not for the actions of BP, the company in which they CHOSE to invest/work. So, these people need to back up, grow up, suck it up and take responsibility for one's OWN actions: both BP and the pensioners. / |

Empires - bad Constitutional republic - good corporatocracy - bad I've got to agree with La Rouche on this one. It's so obvious that Obama is nothing more than pretend opposition to BP. So, British pentioners and Americans with BP stock lose out. Too fucking bad. The rest of us lose our precious environment and millions of animals lose their lives. |

When all the oil companies pull out of the US, you will be even more dependent on Middle East oil. Oil companies will not pull out of the US because of stricter safety and spill response regulations. Refer to Europe, North Sea, etc. They operate with much tighter safety regulations in other countries...in the UK as a matter of fact. It's just COB. . |

YAY Im an unemployed Lorry Driver who was born in Britain and has no pension or anything to do with BP. Blame me Blame me an ordinary citizen. The reporter on the BBC who was at some of the Beaches in America was saying the people this is acutally affecting hold no bad feelings towards the British people but rather the company itself and Obama. This talk is very much a political game on behalf of Obama and his hatred of Britain. Im surprised at some Americans that they could be so hatefull considering both our countries have companies that are destroying the earth. I dont blame Americans for the Iraq war however or any of the disasters their companies have caused, its the goverment I blame and the companies. ![]() You all post threads about how they spread fear and hate to hide their own agenda or cockups so you know their tactics but when they do this very tactic lots of you bloody fall for it. P.S In the coming weeks you will see Obama completly lose it and poison our nations alliance for many years. Hes losing control and when he does it will affect people on both sides of the atlantic. Companies are putting their futures at risk. Not worth taking the gamble. Allow me to state again: they already operate in this capacity in other countries and have for decades. Apparently, the stakes aren't too high operating more safely or they would have pulled out of these countries long ago. Quite the logical contrary to your argument: Companies are putting their futures at risk NOT following appropriate safety measures, as evidenced with Horizon. In addition, the aspect of putting their futures at greater risk is also seen with embarking on new professional endeavors such as ultra deep drilling. For example, Exxon deemed the process so dangerous they refused it in their business model. Walked away from it...with ultra deep reservoirs in their backyard...no thanks. . |
