You have NO IDEA what it's like in Arizona, and you won't until it happens on your street. I've lived in Arizona for 40+ years and it's not about RACE it's about being invaded by leeches on the system.

This did not happen in the 70's when I was in high school. We were all races, we all got along.

My sympathies go to those awaiting their citizenship. Many have been waiting years, have to pass all types of test. To know they've done things properly and legally while others are being rewarded for jumping in line.

I'm not so sure they'd be welcomed with open arms now. They've sucked off us too long and have killed, raped, robbed & murdered too many US citizens. They have permanently worn out their welcome for most of us. We know their recipes, they can leave now; their cuisine is the only positive contribution any of them have made to our country or any other. They need to go back to their failed state & do something about it, if they have the ability, but they obviously don't have what it takes.

What in hell does this have to do with the "worth" of people? What part of "illegal" don't you get? That's like saying getting a speeding ticket is somehow a racist act. Arizona (like most of the country) wants its laws upheld and wants its citizens protected. I'll never get this bleeding heart crap, or the racist shit that always follows with regards to our immigration laws. Mexico's immigration laws are WAAAY harsher than ours, so where's the outrage in regard to their laws? Do they not value the "worth" of people? GIMME A BREAK.

They won't have to pay for all the schools and teachers. They won't have to foot the bill for a bunch of illegal's with no health insurance. Tax base will rise because business will be forced to hire workers and not pay them under the table. Wages will rise overall without competition from ignorant slave work force. Getting ride of the fucking Mexicans is a win win I can't figure out a con for it all pros.

This part is bs. The drain they put on our economy for welfare and medical far exceeds the benefits of cheap labor that doesn't pay into tax system. They also cost us a lot as they fill up our prisons due to crime.

If Arizona is left without a work force I think that legal citizens who are unemployed from other states will move there and fill the void. Employers will just have to have legal workers. I'm willing to pay more for products just to rid us of the drain on our country that these illegals place on us. But many of these companies have benefited from cheap labor but do not pass savings on to us. Screw them. I hope they all go out of business and are replaced by patriotic companies who will not hire illegals.

I don't benefit from cheap labor because I have a huge boycott list of companies that hire illegals or outsource. I can live without anything they sell.

New Mexico, Texas, California really need to follow Arizona's lead. These illegals are a drain on U.S.

They perpetuate the myth that they are drawing social benefits even though the article accurately says that without undocumented workers the economy will come to a screeching halt. They dont care about all that because their goal is to chase out all non anglo white christians. The governor and supporters of this bill knows this because they were warned this would happen. Arizona is going to suffer for this and I guess they'll have to look around to see who else to blame and kick them out...

We'll see who is right. I think that many of the jobs left by illegals will be filled by legal workers. Some employers will have to shut down, who have been relying on illegal workers.

It's an experiment in self-reliance. I hope for its success, and I applaud Arizona for having the guts to try it when the status quo clearly wasn't working.

A reform bill could have resolved these issues without empowering the cops to chase brown people. But I guess a sledge hammer is more your style...

Here's a classic example of the race card. Every country on the planet protects it's sovereign borders with immigration laws. The U.S. has some of the most lenient (non enforced) laws as evidence by the mass migration from mexico. Mexico's laws by comparison are much less lenient for immigrants coming to their country. Yet, when the U.S. decides to FOR ONCE actually ENFORCE it's borders and immigration laws, it's all about fucking race. Yea, we're not doing this because of the drug cartels, violence and crime that comes from the South, no...it's just we hate Mexicans. C'mon...get real.

What’s more, more Hispanics have been leaving Arizona since the recession began.

A recent Census report suggests roughly 40,000 Hispanics left the state in 2008.

So the law is working without even being in effect yet. Good. Every state needs to enact the same such law and reduce the illegal alien tax burden from the citizens of the US.

CA is whacking social programs and so are many other states. No one can afford these leeches anymore. They have been part of CA's economic problems for a long time because it chose to be the big welfare state. CA wanted the illegals for cheap labor and possible votes. The businesses that hired illegals are the only ones that benefit from cheap labor. Thing is, though, illegals in construction trade are getting as much as the legal workers used to in salary - just not having to pay taxes and don't get benefits. They have taken some of our higher paying jobs, not just the minimum wage jobs.

So maybe the illegals will move to states that are doing better if they have half a brain. Probably not, though. Brace yourselves California, Texas and New Mexico. Get after your state politicians to do same as Ariona.

What's a reform bill? Amnesty? Basically forgiving the crime already committed?

Good they can go back to Poland and Germany where they came from.

Bottom line tho...I don't have a problem with anyone coming to my country seeking a better life as long as you have a POSITIVE impact.

If you are only bringing negativity, then I would prefer you stay out of my country!
