Nice.. first threat and my first reply gets a BS flag with some pretty bad reasoning behind it.
First, SHE does mean Lucifer, aka the light-bearer, the morning star or the day star (possibly venus). Although, Lucifer in English, generally is used when speaking about the devil, weather in properly used or not it is used. Is the author using the word "Lucifer" as many in the english language do and referring to the devil? That is open for YOUR interpretation. The New Testament does not ever use Lucifer as the name of satan or in reference to satan. But many post biblical writings do, such as; Dante Alighieri's Inferno and John Milton's Paradise Lost. I can tell you if the author was not calling satan "Lucifer", the post still stands because Lucifer is known as a fallen angel as well. Maybe this will shed some "light" on the lucifer the author might be speaking of (no pun intended):

The Morning Star in Isaiah 14:12

The Book of Isaiah has the following passage:

When the Lord has given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has ceased! How his insolence has ceased! … How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! OP makes good points about fear and how it acts as an invitation. Like in Dune, "fear is the mind killer, the little death"

In John 1, Jesus is called PHOS ANTHROPOS which means "the light inside man"

So there are two lights. OP describes the one outside the self, not Jesus, the bright glimmering of tech and ritual.

But the light inside if lit, will cause our feet to run from such rituals. The light outside keeps your feet paralyzed. The light inside makes your feet move, makes you flee when there is danger.

Light inside = good sense, flight to safety, joy, love, EROS (LIFE) [...You don't need eyes for it at all]

Light outside = Eye candy, mind tricks, being frozen, THANATOS (DEATH) [...Eyes are essential to perceive this light]
