Believe it or not, there are still place with all-volunteer fire departments. When a siren sounds, we all head to the fire in our own vehicles. The systems works very well.

Up until the War-on-America (aka war on drugs) there were never a lot of police around. Also, there are still places today where people take responsibility for their own safety. It works well even tho it's a foreign concept to some of today's metro-types.

Simple fact is, most of the time the police only mop up the mess after the crime. It's a rare event where they stop a crime before or during commission. In fact, given the caliber of police today, I would think we would be better off if we dumped 75% of all police off the payroll.

I am sick of my neighbors on unemployment for 2 years +. Their Credit card debts canceled ( they are told to run them up max just before ) and houses not foreclosed on.

Another "stimulus bill", or would this one be called a "jobs" bill? This guy never quits! Are we not broke enough? At the rate we are going, bankruptcy is our only way out. he's already spent our grandkids money, now he wants the great grandkids money. It's way past time to say NO!

More accurately he is selling your bonds to the highest bidder. Each citizen is worth about 6 million last I checked and multiply that by a few hundred million and you will see just how far in debt we can go.

He already sold us to China, but now the Communist Chinese are getting nervous about his spending, so they are dumping US debt. They have already sold off most of their T bills. The only reason we are not bankrupt now is that Japan and the OPEC countries haven't caught on to the scam yet. With China not buying his debt, we could be bankrupt any day. All it would take is for OPEC to change their minds about the security of US debt.
As far as spitting on him, I wouldn't, because it might splash, and you could catch something!

I personally lost about $50K when the stock market went belly up after September 2008. That would eventually have been rolled into bonds and and IRAs to help cover my retirement. My IRAs lost about $20K. But alas, it's also gone now.

Can you bail me out, too? Can you spare a dime or two?
