Hello, Help me buy a Telescope. What should I get? SUN / Stars / Planets.
Hi.

I want to buy a telescope.
I also want to attach it to a Canon EOS 400D.
I would like to see Saturn and its rings.
I would like to be able to photo the SUN.

I dont have lots of money and I also would prefer to not buy cheap stuff.

I hope there is someone here who can help me.

Thankyou.

You don't need a telescope to look at the sun.

get a reflecting scope, as opposed to a refracting scope.

The bigger the apeture - the open end facing the stars, the better.

But these are more expensive.

If you just want to look at the moon and some planets, a cheap one will do-under $50

Is this something worthwhile? It is almost 50% cheaper on ebay.

That's a nice Scope.

Points to consider

1- that GPS model probably does not come off the mount, which will make
difficult to move. Verify before purchase

2- difficult to look straight up with a fork mount

3- it is not a real large scope but you will probably want a smaller scope for a quick 1 hour viewing session

4- go to astromart or cloudy nights and look for a used scope
