The Messiah, meaning anointed one, was believed to be the true king of the Jews. The Jewish Bible finished with a prophecy saying that Elijah is to come back before the great and terrible day of the Lord. Elijah was a prophet who was called up into Heaven and who ascended on a chariot of fire. The Jews believed he was to return.


The Jews are correct, the one who ascended will descend.

Only Elijah was the second one to translate into heaven, Enoch was the first, and the bible story was written by him.

Enoch is the messiah who ascended and will descend.

Enoch is the son of man.

John was a good man, but the messiah doesn't get his head cut off or nailed to a cross.

The true and everlasting king lives forever, like Enoch is still doing today.
