At the very least the dispersants cause leukemia. This entire situation is a threat to life in so many ways it would be hard to count them all. As a mom myself I would be OUT OF THERE with my little ones. If I were pregnant I would be incredibly concerned as everything I breathed would be passed on to my unborn child as it accumulated in my body. One thing I can think of is the pressure will relieve itself after the New Meridian fault slips...

I don't usually read sites like this, but I live on the Gulf Coast. I have an 18 month old and am pregnant (37 weeks...). Because I am "so" pregnant I am not in the position to evacuate easily. I want to take this seriously, but I also can't leave unless I positively know it's the best thing to do.

Do you have realistic, practical suggestions on a survival/evacuation plan for someone in my position? How soon do you think we will need to leave if this info is correct? Thanks.
