There isn't much you can do with blood, I mean mud stained clothes! We go noodling in the Cottonwood, or Cimarron sometimes. I mean...uh...fishing....uh swimming? Is hand fishing legal? LOL My 7 year old has so many school clothes with that tell tale red mud stain from top to bottom... Daddy can't wait until school is out to get in the water, so I often find myself up late, Windexing whitey tighties and new socks.

I am SO anxious to go check out the flood scene. I keep begging my hubby to let me go, but he's 37 (I'm 27) and he has seen several Cottonwood flood related deaths more than I have, so he's not willing to let me go alone. And he's busy with the wii, so I'm stuck here, waiting for daylight.

I get fired up during floods. Guess that's the redneck in me.

I have never seen so many "overweight" people who normally wouldn't walk from one end of Wal-Mart to the other on their own two feet, that are actually out now (or were when the sirens sounded) going to be nosy. I told hubby I'd walk, but he said that's too white-trashy. I told him I'd drive, but he didn't want my new Civic swept away. I have been known to find my way around road blocks occasionally. LOL
