Actually, yeah, it probably is dead plankton.
Because the oil and dispersant is KILLING all the plankton and algae.
Means: No oxygen production. Stifling, oxygen-depleted 'air'. No food for those fish and invertebrates that do survive. Tons and tons of dead matter floating around the gulf-
to wash up on a shoreline near YOU!!!
