Now this post is NOT BS. Just today on the Weather Channel they were talking about High Tides up along the N.E. Coast (US) beach errosion, etc. And the other stories I have also seen.

So maybe you should give Nancy alittle credit on this one.

High tides due to gravitational effects are a worldwide effect. The recent high tides, while interesting and strange, appear to be local effects. I´ve seen no high tides where I live (northern Scotland, where the tides are huge and the difference between spring and neap tides is very obvious) or where I am now (south Wales).
