My tier just ended last week. About 142K people in florida are not without any income as of last week.

Watch what happens. I have not heard of any more extentions coming.

I have collected for 92 weeks now and I logged onto my account yesterday and the claim I filed on Sunday was denied for some reason. I don't know if im all out of UI benefits or what. I don't know what I will do next. I have a little saved up but thats it.

4th, extension? Can you guys go to the grocery store? a clothing store, gate security guard, temp agency, labor work, convenient stores, gas stations, restaurants, movie theaters.
U know when I was little and my mom couldn't find work, she started cleaning houses for a living to feed 3 children.
She was cleaning 2 houses a day. charging about 50-100 for a home. I bet you can charge more now.

I mean a 4th extension, wouldn;t that be like 4-5 years unemployed? are you guys handicapped.
If you don't know how to network, go online and look up articles on how to better your chances of finding work.
Go to the same bookstore and ask if they are hiring, and go every day to ask the same thing so they remember your face.

folks not trying to sound like a hard ass but if you have been on UI for quite a while then it is almost over for you .. you will need to look at alternatives ( friends relatives, moving to get work in places like North Dakota, camping etc.. whatever) as things are about to change China has notified us they will cut back on US bonds so Congress is about to get very tight w money just the way it is sorry

I still have fourth extension to go. Hopefully, Obama and Congress do something about it this summer. Otherwise, we are FUCKED.

I think the tiers are theoretical, that is, it all has to be funded. So you may have more weeks of benefits coming, but it means nothing if the money isn't there.

I've had to wait for payment a coulple of times. I got back pay, but what if the money did not appear?????

I am on unemployment... was laid off last summer when my job went to China... no jobs to be had around here so I have been in school every since I lost my job. The government gave my job away... a job I had done faithfully for 20 years, so I dont see why they cant pay me 230.00 dollars a week untill I finish my program. I dont want to be unemployed... I had no choice, they didn't ask me.

Please don't compare 60 or 70 to 2010 because it's DIFFERENT. You can't find an easy job any more.

How long has your claim been going? Doesn't the claim end in a year? Didn't you have to open a new claim at the end of your claim year? So does your federal extention go past a year?

Well get to work you lazy fuckstick. If you're on your 3rd extension ...you just dont want to work. I had 2 employees who quit on me because they decided to go back on unemployment from their previous employer because of these extensions.

If you are going to take pay from the rest of us then I think we should have your ass in a white jumpsuit cleaning up oil on the beach.
